A note from the Co-Chairs On November 10th, we celebrate the leadership of Scouting’s partners that are helping us prepare youth with lessons that focus on science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). In response to Chicago’s shortage of skilled talent in STEM-related fields, we have partnered with the finance industry. By leveraging Scouting’s merit badge curriculum our partners have created a hands-on learning environment that has produced an impactful and memorable experience. Scouts are learning from seasoned professionals in their area of expertise. They are being inspired to strive to new heights in the business settings they experience.

Trading Tech 300 2016 Partner Companies

These companies invited Scouts into their offices and conducted employee-led clinics. On behalf of the Scouts who benefited from their generous investment of time and resources, THANK YOU!

The Pathway to Adventure Council (PTAC) serves communities in Chicago proper, its Northwest and Western suburbs, as well as Northwest Indiana. PTAC is one of the largest Boy Scout councils in the nation. The LaSalle Street Trading Tech Awards benefits over 31,000 Scouts and volunteers. Thanks for making these moments happen…

Trading Tech 300 Merit Badge Clinics

Through the Trading Tech 300 program, Scouts are provided with a positive and safe way to spend their day off from school as they earn a STEM-related merit badge. Along the way they also learn about Chicago’s finance industry and our partners’ businesses. Help contribute to the work of all of our Trading Tech 300 partners and encourage others to innovate by supporting this event.

Cheer on your industry colleagues as we recognize their contributions to this program. In the spirit of finding new and innovative ways to bring STEM to Scouting, just like our Trading Tech 300 partners have, PTAC is also honoring the contributions of Collins Engineers, Inc.

Collins Engineers, Inc. is an ENR Top 500 Design Firm delivering engineering ingenuity and solutions, and realistic, honest answers since 1979. Collins Engineers understands the need to educate and excite youth for future careers in STEM fields. Its contributions are enabling young men and women in our communities to explore and learn how to design, build and deploy underwater remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to help solve specific, real-world engineering challenges. Help contribute to the work of all of our Trading Tech 300 partners and encourage others to innovate by supporting this event.
