PT V Self-Ligating Brackets The innovative design of the auxiliary hook allows placement of all types of elastomeric chains. The newly designed PT V Self-Ligating Bracket using patented technology ensures seamless operation of the bracket slider in both opening and closing movements. In addition the accurate fit of the slider minimises food debris entry into the mechanism.

The MIM technology employed in the manufacture of the brackets using a mirror polished mold results in accurate slot dimensions and more efficient movement of the teeth.

Easy opening and closing mechanism The passive opening of the slider ensures the convenience of placing and removing archwires. The easy “twist-and-open” technique replaces the traditional “pull-and-open” technique. This ensures less force application to the teeth.

Cases Using Class 2 Elastics High torque brackets are used to prevent the undesired lingual tilting of the crown of the upper anterior teeth during treatment, i.e. when the torque needs to be increased in the archwire.

Low torque brackets are applied to prevent the undesired labial tilting of the crown of the lower anterior teeth during treatment, i.e. when the torque needs to be decreased in the archwire.

Cases Using Class 3 Elastics Low torque brackets are applied to prevent the undesired labial tilting of the crown of the upper anterior teeth during treatment, i.e. when the torque needs to be decreased in the archwire.
