NPEA Church Leadership Retreat February 24-25, 2017 Spearfish, South Dakota
SPEAKER LOCATION SPONSORS Ken Idleman is the Vice President of Leadership Development at The Solomon Foundation. Ken is responsible for mentoring gifted pastors and equipping them with the resources they need to lead their churches to the next level. In his 20s, Ken began teaching at Ozark Christian College in the areas of Bible and ministry. At age 29, he was named President-elect and at age 31, he became the fourth president of OCC. After a colorful career in Christian higher education, Ken began a ten-year ministry as Senior Pastor of Crossroads Christian Church, a 4000 active member mega-church, located in southwest IN. In Ken’s words, “College presidents don’t retire; they go out to pastor!” Ken’s ministry focus has been to raise up, equip, send out and faithfully support Christian leaders. Ken and his wife Kaylene have raised three children, who are all Christian leaders, along with their spouses, at Southeast Christian Church in Louisville, KY. The Idleman’s have eleven grandchildren.
The Northern Plains Evangelistic Association’s Annual Leadership Retreat will be held at the NEW North Point Christian Church. It is located 2 miles north of I-90 on Hwy 85 (exit 10). This retreat is designed for adults only. The cost is $70 per couple before February 1. The cost after this date will be $85 per couple. Remember, the cost of the retreat is the same whether your spouse attends or not, so please bring your spouse to this retreat! This retreat is designed for ministers, pastoral staff, church leaders and their spouses.
