Dr Patricia O’Rourke is a Child Psychotherapist with extensive experience working in the public and private sectors in Australia and New Zealand. Ms Naomi Guiver is a clinical psychologist and a PhD candidate within the College of Medicine and Public Health at Flinders University. Naomi’s career has included clinical work in hospitals and in private practice, as well as analytical, research and evaluation work within government, university and consultancy settings. She has a passion for prevention, and for combining clinical and administrative data to better inform “what matters, and what works” in health services and systems. Naomi’s PhD research looks at the impact of antenatal psychosocial screening programs on women’s service uptake and babies’ health and wellbeing.

Ms Amy Garrett completed her Bachelor of Psychological science at the University of Adelaide in 2014. She then went on to study Honours, where her project focused on the impact of gene variants on the morning rise of the stress hormone cortisol and its relationship to cognitive functioning. Amy is currently completing her PhD with the Placental Development Laboratory at the Robinson Research Institute, University of Adelaide. Her project focuses on cognitive and mental health outcomes in 8-10 year old children following intrauterine exposure to adversity. Dr Prue McEvoy is currently the Clinical Director of the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) in South Australia.

Prior to this she was the Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist for Children in Care. Her clinical interest then has always been in vulnerable populations, and involving herself in the provision of services to the APY Lands has been both challenging and very rewarding. In addition, she has an interest in training and is the Chair of the Subcommittee for Advanced Training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in the RANZCP.
