Minor Significant Major
WEEKEND
Synopsis: Showers and storms will be featured for the northern mountains today with little activity expected elsewhere. Showers and storms will increase in areal coverage Tuesday and Wednesday over the north and west. A system passing to our north may increase winds Thursday afternoon with showers and storms limited to the northwest third. Precipitation chances could increase over the upcoming weekend, as models indicate moisture from a decaying tropical system could move into the region. Low temperatures this week will remain above average as will highs today through Wednesday. A slight cool down is expected Thursday and Friday.
