Exporting and Archiving Your Blackboard Courses If you instruct online courses for PSC, you’ve most likely seen us ask you to export and archive your courses in the past. You can find information on this process (along with many other important processes) in the Online Faculty Training Manual. However, to assist instructors with quick reference to this process, along with additional information regarding the process’s importance, please see our Exporting & Archiving tutorial.
If an advisee or student happens to inquire about the spring or summer registration process, please direct them to the Registration Information sheet. This PDF is full of information useful in assisting students not only with registration, but also other frequently asked questions.

Teaching with Technology Conference Our Teaching with Technology conference took place on September 16th. If you would like access into the Blackboard organization to view the conference content, please let our office know. The following are the topics we covered: Curriculum Builder, Office Mix, Adobe Connect and Zoom, Qwickly, Content Collection, rubrics, important dates, notification settings, and Blackboard’s Social tools.
What are their future plans? What courses will help not only satisfy graduation requirements, but help better prepare the student for their future career?
Help build a graduation plan with the student. Discuss internship opportunities and the process. Follow up with their current semester; how classes are going, experience, clubs, etc.
October 2016 Microsoft has added a new tool to Office Mix that allows you to add this interactive content to your Blackboard course. Use the Office Mix PowerPoint plug-in to create interactive content. Visit the Gallery to see what other instructors have shared. You can add instructional video and/or voice narration, screen recordings, webpages and even add graded quiz questions to your PowerPoint slides that will automatically transfer to your Blackboard Grade Center as students complete them. Please note: that the new Blackboard LTI tool should only be used to add your own Mixes to a course. For Mixes created by others, outside our institution, use the “Web Link” tool to add the URL to your course.
