MEDIA RELEASE – JANUARY 29, 2018 RARITAN TWP POLICE AND THE HUNTERDON COUNTY PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE INVESTIGATE DEATH AT GUN RANGE
Hunterdon County Prosecutor Anthony P. Kearns, III, and Raritan Township Police Chief Glenn Tabasko announce a joint investigation by the Raritan Township Police Department and the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit into a death that occurred earlier this afternoon at a gun range in Raritan Township. According to Prosecutor Kearns, “Raritan Township police responded to the Tactical Training Center in Raritan Township for the report of a gunshot victim. A male victim was pronounced dead of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. The identity of the victim is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
