Official Contest Rules 1. ELIGIBILITY: KC Live, LLC Frost Contest is open only to legal residents of fortynine (49) states of the United States and the District of Columbia (void in Rhode Island, Puerto Rico, all U.S. territories and possessions and all overseas military installations) who are at least twenty-one (21) years of age or older as of 2/8/2014. All employees of KC Live, LLC, and their parent corporation, subsidiaries, affiliates, licensees, prize providers, contractors, or agents (collectively “Contest Entities”), and their immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling and their respective spouses) and those living in the same household of each (whether legally related or not), are ineligible to enter or win the Contest. All applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited by law. Entry in the Contest constitutes your full and unconditional acceptance of these official rules (“Official Rules”), including, but not limited to, your consent to receive email messages from Contest Entities in connection with this Contest or similar contests or other selected promotions. 2. CONTEST PERIOD: The Contest entry period begins at 8:00 pm (CST) on 2/8/2014 and ends at 11:00 pm (CST) on 2/8/2014. Winners will be selected from entries properly submitted to the Contest. 3. CONTEST ENTRY INSTRUCTIONS: To enter the Contest an entrant Register at the Registration Booth for the Coors Light Trip Giveaway. There is no limit on the number of times an individual may enter the Contest, but each entry will be treated as separate entry and not be grouped or aggregated with any other entry. 4. PUBLICITY: As a condition of entry into the Contest, except where prohibited by law, each entrant by entering and each Prize Winner by accepting a Prize grants to the Contest Entities a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license and right to publicize, broadcast, and/or otherwise use the Contest’s entrant’s name, city, state, biographical material, and likeness in any media now known or hereafter devised throughout the world in perpetuity for advertising and publicity purposes, without additional review, compensation, permission, or approval. 5. SELECTION OF CONTEST WINNER: The winner will be selected at random drawing. The potential Contest Winner must be present at KC Live, LLC at 11:00 pm CST on 2/8/2014 to be eligible to win. At the sole discretion of the Contest Entities or their designee(s), disqualification, forfeiture, and selection of an alternate winner may result from any of the following: (1) a potential Contest Winner’s failure to be present at KC Live, LLC at the time and date referenced above; (2) a potential Contest Winner’s failure to provide Contest Entities with satisfactory proof of age, identity, and residency, and (3) any other non-compliance with the Official Rules. In the event of a prize forfeiture, the Contest Entities or its designee(s) may, in their sole discretion, award or not award the forfeited prize to an alternate winner. 6. PRIZES: One Contest Prize shall be awarded, which will consist of the following: A Visa Gift Card provided by Coors Light.. Total prize value is estimated at One Thousand Five Hundred and 00/100 Dollars ($1500). All expenses not specifically mentioned herein are not included as part of any prize package, and are solely the Contest Winner’s responsibility.
The prize will be delivered once winner eligibility and travel dates have been confirmed. A representative from Contest Entities will coordinate acceptable travel dates for Contest Winner. Prizes are not redeemable for cash or transferable, except to a surviving spouse residing in the same household. No substitution is allowed except, at Contest Entities’ sole discretion, a prize of equal or greater value may be substituted. The Prize will be awarded provided it is validly claimed by 2/8/2014, after which no alternate winners will be selected, nor unclaimed prizes awarded. All taxes on the Contest Prize, if any, and other expenses related to accepting or using the Contest Prize not listed in these Official Rules are the sole responsibility of the Contest Winner, who will receive an IRS Form 1099 reflecting the final actual value of the Contest Prize, if applicable. 7. PRIZE CONDITIONS: Taxes, gratuities, and other expenses not specifically identified in these Official Rules are the sole responsibility of the Contest Winner. No transfer, sale, or substitution for the Contest Prize or components of the Contest Prize allowed except at Contest Entities’ sole discretion. Contest Entities reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the Contest Prize cannot be awarded as described for any reason. Contest Prize is non-refundable and is not redeemable for cash or credit. Contest Prize and its components may not be transferred or sold to a third party. If for any reason any portion of the Contest Prize does not occur, such portion will be forfeited with no compensation being paid in exchange thereof. 8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: The Contest Entities are not responsible for: (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, printing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest; (2) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (3) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Contest; (4) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Contest or the processing of entries; or (5) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the Contest or receipt or use or misuse of any prize. If for any reason an entrant's entry is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost, or otherwise destroyed or corrupted, entrant’s sole remedy is another entry in the Contest, provided that if it is not possible to award another entry due to discontinuance of the Contest, or any part of it, for any reason. 9. DISPUTES: Except where prohibited, entrant agrees that: (1) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Contest or any Contest Prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by a state or federal court located in Baltimore, Maryland; (2) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Contest, but in no event attorneys’ fees; and (3) under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, indirect, punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. All issues and questions
concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrant and Contest Entities in connection with the Contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Maryland, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of Maryland or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Maryland. 10. RELEASE: By receipt of any prize, Contest Winner agrees to release and hold harmless Contest Entities, and their respective parent, subsidiary, and affiliate companies, suppliers, distributors, and advertising/promotion agencies (including Facebook, Twitter, and other social media platforms), as well as each such company’s officers, directors, employees and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action, including, but not limited to, personal injury, death, or damage to or loss of property, arising out of participation in the Contest or receipt, use, or misuse of any prize. 11.
