Let your children explore the zoo with our Educators! They will have a fun day discovering animals native to the United States! Visit our bald eagle, Amelia, and learn how she came to the zoo. Play our US animal trivia game, see a LASER show in the zoo theater, and more! Participants will be divided into age appropriate groups. Before and aftercare available. Lunch (entrée - hot dogs) available. Date: Friday, November 10, 2017 Time: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm Ages: 4 – 11 years Cost: Good Zoo Members $25; Non-zoo members $30 Aftercare: $15 Lunch: $5.50 Black Friday Kid’s Fun Day Parents! Go grab those Black Friday specials while your children visit the zoo for a fun day of animals, games, movies (with popcorn, of course!), and more! Bring your children to the zoo anytime after 7:30 am and pick them up by 5:30 pm. We will fill their day with fun activities, learning adventures, and also provide a pizza lunch and snacks. Date: Friday, November 24, 2017 Time: anytime between 7:30 am – 5:30 pm Ages: 4 – 11 years Cost: Good Zoo members $35; Non-zoo members $45 Santa’s Helpers At the North Pole, the elves are hard at work creating gifts for good little girls and boys. At the Santa’s Helpers program, children can join our Zoo Educators in creating Christmas crafts. Decorate your own Christmas cookies, make fun animal ornaments, and even create a holiday treat for the animals. Date: Saturday, December 16, 2017 Times: 1:00 – 3:00 pm Ages: 4 – 11 years Cost: Zoo Members $18; Non-members $20

OGLEBAY GOOD ZOO Winter Break Camp! Spend your winter break with the zoo animals! Join Zoo Educators for exciting learning activities, games, nature play, and art projects! Learn about reindeer, bears, snowflakes, winter weather, and meet our daily animal ambassadors! Participants will be divided into age appropriate groups. Participants must bring a lunch or purchase lunch from the zoo ($5.50). Lunches will be kid friendly fare such as hotdogs, chicken nuggets, etc. Before care is available from 8:15 – 9:00 am for no extra charge. Aftercare is $15 per child, per day and runs from 3:00 pm - 5:30 pm. This Release is made to allow my child to participate in Oglebay’s Good Education Programs. I recognize that my signature on this Release is a condition of your permitting my child to participate. I agree that you may photograph and/or videotape my child during programs and that you retain rights to use these visual images in any manner you wish without compensation to my child. I certify that my child is in excellent physical health, and may participate in strenuous, physical activities at the Program. I certify that there are no physical limitations to my child’s participation in the Program. However, if physical limitations do exist, I certify that I have listed those limitations on the space provided herein. Permission is granted for my child to receive emergency medical treatment if needed. Permission is granted for my child to receive the administration of prescription medication pursuant to oral or written instructions from the child’s parent/guardian. I hereby release and discharge the Wheeling Park Commission and all of its affiliated entities, including but not limited to its successors, assigns, subsidiaries, franchises, affiliates, officers, directors, employees and agents, completely harmless and not liable, and releases them from all liability whatsoever and agree not to sue them on account or in connection with any claims, causes of action, injuries, damages, costs or expenses arising out of the child’s use of or presence upon Wheeling Park Commission property and facilities, including without limitation, those based on death, bodily injury, and property damage, including consequential damage.
