In this guide you will learn about:  Communicating in Chat  Communicating in Private Chat  Chat customisation  Chat records

Communicating in Online Rooms Most Layouts in most sessions of Online Rooms feature a Chat Pod. It’s a little messenger Pod where attendees can question, clarify, discuss, contemplate, or comment on the content of the session.

It’s a great place to comment or ask questions without having to interrupt the presenter. Questions can be collated in the chat pod and then answered at the end of the session.

The main Chat Pod is visible to the entire group but it is also possible to chat privately with another attendee. If needed you can also start Private Chats with specific groups (like Hosts or Presenters). Each Chat opens in its own separate tab inside the Chat Pod.

It is possible to have multiple Chat tabs occurring simultaneously and you can flip between them by simply selecting the tab. Each tab will light up when a new message is received to make it easy to keep track of multiple conversations at once.

Like most Pods, the Chat Pod has a range of Pod Options available for customisation.

In the Chat Pod you can also customise your font colour as well as the size the font displays at on your screen. It is also possible to enable and disable Timestamps and Chat Sounds.

The Host is able to email themselves a record of the Chat Pod quickly and easily so ensure that you are utilising this tool appropriately.
