Lunaphore Technologies is a young start-up company active in the In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) field developing a product based on a microfluidic technology to analyze tissue samples for cancer diagnostics. To develop the company and its image, Lunaphore is seeking a highly motivated candidate to join the team for a permanent full-time position in our offices at EPFL Innovation Park to develop marketing and communication related activities.
Key responsibilities The Marketing & Communication Manager reports directly to the COO and will: Describe and promote the company and its products including the creation of brochures, company or product fact sheets, videos or other marketing material. Research and develop content, including market and scientific data, for publication in newsletters and on the company website. Organize and attend conferences and events to promote the company and product. Regularly update the website and social medias channels. Report to the COO on a regular basis. Manage contacts with external parties Drive for results by consistently achieving goals and pushing to complete tasks by their deadlines. Skills You are creative and have a good sense of visual communication. You have excellent writing and oral presentation skills. You can effectively communicate scientific and general content. You can adapt in a constantly changing environment. You are dynamic and like to interact with people in a multi-disciplinary environment. You have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to manage deadlines, multiple priorities, and deliver results with limited supervision. You have experience with basic marketing and communication tools. You have an excellent command of written and oral English. French is a strong plus. You have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office software programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Good knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a strong plus. Photography is a plus
Preferred qualifications A degree in a scientific field and/or a certificate in Marketing and communication or equivalent. 1-2 years experience in marketing and communication.
