50th Anniversary Celebration and BioBlitz Come explore Oregon’s coastal waters while celebrating 50 years of public access to your beaches. Participants will enjoy a weekend of citizen science activities aimed at helping local scientists better catalogue and monitor the species of the region.

May 26th, Friday (4:30pm-5:30pm) Sea star wasting disease presentation at the Cape Perpetua Visitor center.
May 27th, Saturday (8:00am—12:00pm) Meeting at Cape Pepetua Visitor Center for a short training and location assignments for Sea Star Wasting Disease Monitoring.
May 28th, Sunday (9:00am—2:00pm) Meeting at Cape Perpetua Visitor Center for location assignments. Following the Bioblitz we will celebrate with a picnic at Neptune State Park.
