Orlando Fringe Venue Locations Most of the Orlando Fringe’s venues are located in (or very near) the City of Orlando’s Loch Haven Park, a city cultural campus that is home to The Lowndes Shakespeare Center and The Orlando Repertory Theatre. The park is located just north of the downtown area and also hosts The Orlando Museum of Art, the Orlando Science Center, and The Mennello Museum. One venue is located a short distance from the park.

Located in Loch Haven Park and the central facility of the Orlando Fringe, the center houses seven of our eleven venues, the main Fringe box office, courtyard seating, Visual Fringe art, beer and wine service, merchandise, and button sales. Free parking is available just steps from the door.

Also located in Loch Haven Park, just across the Lawn from the Lowndes Shakespeare Center, The Orlando Rep houses two venues, a Fringe box office, and an air conditioned lobby for our patrons.

“The Venue” on Virginia Black Venue

Located less than a mile south of Loch Haven Park in the up and coming Ivanhoe Village Main Street neighborhood, this venue is just a short walk, bike ride, or drive around beautiful Lake Formosa from Loch Haven Park. One of Orlando’s most exciting new theatre spaces now hosts our only 80 seat venue! This Venue houses a large performance space, a Fringe box office, a lobby lounge, a beer, wine and refreshment bar, and the beautiful Little Lawn Of Fabulousness! Plenty of parking, restaurants, and shops are just steps away!

Venue Details Orange Venue (Margeson Theater)

320-seat, 3/4 thrust stage, fully equipped light & sound board, storage & dressing rooms. This is a large venue with intimate feel. Yellow Venue (Goldman Theater)

118-seat lovely and intimate proscenium theatre with a raised stage and great technical amenities. Pink Venue (Mandell Studio Theater)

Brown Venue (Orlando Philharmonic Rehearsal Hall)

100-seat venue with basic technical amenities, thrust seating, and limited back stage area. This venue is not ideal for loud music/musicals or dance, but this is a great venue for more intimate shows with low tech and limited storage needs. Seating: 100(90 available for sale, 5 reserved for artist comps, 5 reserved for pass holders) Running time allowed: up to 90 minutes (additional fees apply over 60 minutes) Tech time: 3-5 Hours (depending on run time) Piano rental available: Yes Recommended for shows with low technical requirements, solo shows. Blue Venue (Studio B)

One of the most intimate venues Fringe offers is being newly renovated for 2013! Fully equipped new light and sound board, new seats, and redesigned thrust stage. Purple Venue (Patrons Room)

A converted planetarium, this intimate 60 seat venue is ideal for storytelling or solo shows with few technical needs. This venue has basic technical amenities, limited storage, and limited dressing space. Seating: 60 (54 available for sale, 3 reserved for artist comps, 3 reserved for pass holders) Running time allowed: up to 60 minutes Tech time: 3 Hours Piano rental available: No Special Features: This venue is in the center of the Shakespeare Center, in the most high traffic area of Fringe. There is some echo from the domed ceiling, and some sound bleed from lobby. Recommended for Small cast or solo shows. Not recommended for dance shows, musicals, shows with large casts or technical needs.

Red Venue (McLaughlin Rehearsal Studio) Located on the second floor of the Shakespeare Center, this rehearsal hall seats 60, has a large stage area, and a great floor for dance. Seating: 60 (54 available for sale, 3 reserved for artist comps, 3 reserved for pass holders) Running time allowed: up to 60 minutes Tech time: 3 Hours Piano rental available: No Special Features: Dance floor and large stage area, slight sound bleed from Orange Venue. Silver Venue (Edyth Bush Theater)

300-seat, proscenium stage, fully equipped light & sound board, spotlights available, large storage & dressing rooms. This is a large venue great for large musical or dance shows. Includes two professional venue techs.
