Minutes of the meeting of Olney Town Council Planning Committee held on Monday 16 May 2016 at 7:00 pm in the Olney Centre Present: Councillors Jeremy Rawlings, Deirdre Bethune, John Boardman, Ron Bull, Tony Evans, In attendance: Liam Costello (Town Clerk)

To elect a chairman of the committee RESOLVED:

To elect Councillor Steve Clark as the chairman of the committee.



That Councillor Jeremy Rawlings chairs the meeting in the chairman’s absence.

Councillor Bethune declared an interest in items g and h

To approve the minutes of the meeting held on 11 April 2016 RESOLVED: The minutes of the previous meeting be approved.

To receive the list of recent planning decisions. Concerns were expressed about the decision in application 14/02060/OUT by the planning inspector. The appeal decision refers in paragraph 24 to an Odour Assessment submitted by the appellant. However, neither Olney Town Council nor Milton Keynes Council can find any evidence of such a document in either the original application or the subsequent appeal. Milton Keynes Council have asked the planning inspector to clarify if this document exists as they have been denied the opportunity to assess and comment on it. RESOLVED: To write to both Milton Keynes Council and the Planning Inspector to express our concerns about the existence of this document.

The council are concerned about flooding on this site, as are others in the town.



The council believes that the application is premature and should not be determined until the emerging Neighbourhood Plan has been approved
