Create opportunities for me and other community members to share our voices. We want to incorporate what’s important to you: our patients, residents and caregivers across the network. Our goal is to expand our advisory program to make sure we’re hearing more from the people impacted by our care. Give me the information I need before I leave the hospital. We want you to go home from the hospital with the details you need to feel confident and safe. Our goal is to provide you with the right level of information in an easy-to-read format. Reduce the amount of time I wait in the emergency department. Long waits are hard on everyone. We remain committed to reducing wait times in our emergency departments.

Protect me from harm. Our goal is to keep you safe, which means working to prevent falls, bed sores and hospital-acquired infections from happening. If a safety incident occurs and shows a need to change our processes, our goal is to make those changes as quickly as possible and then share what we learned across the network so similar events don’t happen again. Keep the staff who care for me safe. A safe environment for patients should also be a safe workplace for our staff and physicians. To better understand the challenges our teams are facing, our goal is to improve reporting of workplace violence and better support our people when they are impacted.
