Daily AQI Forecast for Jul 03, 2018

Special Statement This Forecast is valid for the next few days as both fire activity and weather are expected to remain relatively constant. This Outlook will be updated if conditions change. Fire With cloud cover, increased humidity and potential for thunderstorms the next few days, active fire behavior and significant growth is not expected in the area. The Sardinas Canyon Fire is currently 2,307 acres and 12% contained. The Morris Creek Fire is currently 2,000 acres and 40% contained. Smoke Light winds are expected the next few days and with limited fire activity, smoke transport during the day should be minimal. However, with outflow winds likely should thunderstorms develop, smoke could be spread in any direction. During the evening smoke will settle into drainages below active fire but should lift by mid-morning. 5-3-1 Visibility Method No monitor in your area?
