Congratulations on your decision to attend Marquette University! We have designed events during Preview to introduce you to all aspects of your new life at Marquette. If you have any questions during the day, please ask one of our students or staff members. College Meetings Welcome messages from College Deans highlight these informative meetings. You will discuss course registration and your class schedule for the fall with an academic advisor. Student Financials Self-Service Workshop Cudahy Hall, 417 Hands-on instructions for important Checkmarq Student Financial basics such as how to set up Guest Access (this enables your bill payer to view your e-bills), accept and view your financial aid, view or change your MCAN and view your billing information. Please bring your Checkmarq Username and Password and we’ll use the computer lab to walk you through these important steps. New demos will start every 30 minutes. Life in the Residence Halls Presentation Varsity Theatre Meet Residence Life staff and learn about your residence hall experience. Residence Hall Tours Assigned Residence Hall Students and family members will be escorted to the hall to which they are assigned for a tour of the building and sample rooms. Tours leave from the lobby of the Varsity Theatre. Commuter Connections Alumni Memorial Union, 252 Looking for more information about commuting to campus? This is the session for you! Please join us for an informal discussion about commuter life at Marquette. Ask questions of current commuter students and campus administrators to learn more about parking, dining, study support, working on campus, and the importance of campus involvement. Mass (Sunday Only) AMU, Chapel of the Holy Family You and your family are invited to join members of the Marquette community as we celebrate Mass.

Student Welcome/ComedySportz Weasler Auditorium Your Preview session begins with a welcome and performance by Milwaukee’s own ComedySportz.

7:00 – 8:30 p.m.

Family Member Walk and Talk Program AMU, Ballrooms, 3rd Floor Following a welcome and overview of student life at Marquette, family members may join Student Affairs and Campus Ministry staff members for an informal tour of campus. The tour highlights student service areas.

8:00 – 9:30 p.m.

Student Group Meetings Assigned Rooms (see folder) During these informal meetings, you will meet other new students and your Team Leader, learn about the university, ask questions and get advice.

8:30 – 10:00 p.m.

Parent Social Westowne Square (Rainsite: AMU Marquette Place, 2nd Floor) Socialize with family members of other new students and University administrators.
