In this session we will offer a unique look at how iPads are being utilized in Hilliard City Schools. Get a glimpse at the newest iOS version, learn about some of the most popular apps being used by students and teachers, become familiar with how to navigate an iOS device, and ask questions about some of the built-in settings on an iPad.

The Screenagers movie probes into the vulnerable corners of family life, including the director's own, and depicts messy struggles, over social media, video games, academics and internet addiction. Through surprising insights from authors and brain scientists solutions emerge on how we can empower kids to best navigate the digital world. In this class we will talk with parents and students about various options and choices while working in a safer, digital environment at home. This workshop will feature two breakout sessions in which parents and students will be grouped separately. Each breakout session will be tailored specifically to the parent or student audience.
