PILGRIMAGE TO ST ALOYSIUS’, CAULFIELD NORTH Saturday 30 June, 12–4pm St Anthony’s, 72 Grange Road, Glen Huntly to St Aloysius’, 233 Balaclava Road, Caulfield North For this pilgrimage to St Aloysius’ church for the Year of St Aloysius, the day begins with a BBQ lunch at St Anthony’s, starting at noon. Gerald O'Collins is an adjunct professor at Australian Catholic University and a research fellow at the University of Divinity in Melbourne. PROCLAIM 2018: COMING TO BRISBANE Thursday 12 to Saturday 14 July Edmund Rice Performing Arts Centre, South Brisbane The Brisbane Archdiocese will host the national PROCLAIM Conference in July this year. PROCLAIM focusses on inspiring, equipping and encouraging parishes and Catholic communities to engage in evangelisation and renewal. The theme of the 2018 conference is ‘Make your home in me’ (Jn 15:4). The conference will engage parishes in an ongoing conversation focussing on leadership, cultural change, young people, belonging, hospitality and evangelisation. GENERAL NOTICES SEEKING MASS KIT FOR ROYAL MELBOURNE HOSPITAL After some years of not having a Mass at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, plans are presently being drawn up for a Catholic Mass to be held at the Royal Melbourne on a monthly basis. There is a possibility of the Mass becoming a fortnightly event. The RMH is wondering if there is a Melbourne parish which might have a spare Mass kit? If you are able to donate a spare kit, it would be greatly appreciated, as this monthly ministry prepares to launch. 10TH ANNIVERSARY OF WYD SYDNEY 2008 This July marks 10 years since we celebrated ‘Days in the Diocese’ in Melbourne and World Youth Day in Sydney. Victorian-born and educated, Mary Glowrey felt called by God to medical missionary work in India. She left Melbourne in 1920 aged 32, joined a Dutch religious order in India and served there as a medical missionary for 37 years.
