PRESENTERS Yervant Kutchukian and Kathy Rosenbaum  Yervant graduated from of Georgetown University with a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service. He obtained a Master of Arts in Religious Studies from St. Nersess Armenian Seminary and St. Vladimir’s Orthodox Theological Seminary. He completed nine units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) at Albany Medical Center (AMC) and worked for 2 years at AMC in the Department of Pastoral Care initially as a Resident and then as a Senior Resident in Clinical Pastoral Education. Yervant is currently employed full-time as a chaplain at AMC. 

Kathleen received her M.A. in Pastoral Studies from St. Bernard’s School of Theology & Ministry and a M.S. in Communication Disorders from The College of St. Rose. Kathleen has completed one unit of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) at Albany Medical Center. She holds two NYS Licenses, one a Professional License in Speech-Language Pathology and another, a Permanent License in Speech and Hearing Handicapped. She is a consultant for the Lexington Center, serving individuals with special needs and facilitates retreats for diocesan parishes.

Weekly sessions include presentations, interactive exercises as well as readings. Two pastoral visits are required along with a journal process. Anyone of any faith who wishes to learn more or to refresh their pastoral care skills is invited to attend. Attendance at all six sessions is required for a Certificate. This workshop will be limited to the first 28 registrants Pre-registration is required by April 10, 2017
