PEGASUS CLUB Priestmead’s Breakfast & After School Wrap-Around-Care Provision

Dear Parent/Carer,

Pegasus Club continues on Monday 19th February Our wrap-around provision continues into the Spring Term with:        

Siblings discount of 5% Hot food options for breakfast and after school Brand new resources Homework corner – structured homework help A varied, structured programme Easier drop off/pick up arrangements Lower prices A fresh look to the environment used

Unfortunately, due to low demand, we will not be running Pegasus Club during the February half-term. We will be sending out a parent survey shortly asking parents and carers if they are interested in an Easter Pegasus Club and we will be detailing some possible pricing and dates. Whilst we are not currently looking to limit the number of children attending, the club is becoming increasingly busier so we ask parents and carers to fill out the attached booking sheet for the whole term to help us with staffing. We encountered some minor issues with the ParentPay system this term but Mark and Vaishali are working hard to have everything up to date before the 26th January. What to do next? Please complete the two forms at the end of this booklet confirming your CHILD’S NAME, CLASS and TICK which SESSIONS you require and the FOOD options. Please also complete the medical/dietary information form. This needs to be complete and returned to the school office by 9.00am on Friday 2nd February There are paper copies of this form available at the School Office. Any queries, please email [email protected] Yours sincerely,

Sash Hamidi Headteacher [email protected]

PEGASUS CLUB FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQs) SHEET 1. How do I book a place for my child at Pegasus Club? Please complete the sheet overleaf for your Pegasus Club requirements. Please choose either ONE hot option or the cold option for each session. Once we have received your completed booking sheet, we will endeavour to let you know within 48 hours if your place has been secured via email. For ad-hoc or short-notice bookings, you must email the club at [email protected]. You will receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive confirmation, please call Mark Alwyn (Premises & Income Manager) on 07863544440.

2. How do I pay & how often? The Pegasus Club will be a cashless operation similar to lunch and trip payments. All payments will be made by ParentPay. If any parents have not set up their ParentPay or need further information, please speak to the school office. Once we have accepted your application, we will email you to confirm your ParentPay has been set-up and you will be able to make payment. We ask that payments are made for a half-term in advance – this allows us to organise staffing and resources. If you are using the club on an ad-hoc basis, you will be invoiced accordingly.

3. Is there discounts for parents with more than one child in Pegasus Club? Yes. Parents will get a 5% discount on every session attended by more than one sibling.

4. Will there be refunds if my child cannot attend? There is a no-refund policy. Long-term absence (after the third day) or extra-ordinary cases will be at management’s discretion and may involve a credit for the following term.

5. Will Priestmead be accepting Childcare Vouchers? We currently have working agreements with Edenred, BusyBees, ComputerShare, Sodexo and Voucher Systems. If your childcare provider is not on the list, please email [email protected]. Please indicate on the booking form if you are paying using cash, vouchers or a combination of the both.

If you need to ring the Pegasus Club staff to collect your child, the Pegasus Club mobile number is 07563331810.

8. How do I get into the site? WALKING: Parents can drop off and collect their children using the Hartford Avenue main entrance (no vehicle access) and walk through the black gates near the school office.
