Christmas In Armenia Our family spent a day in Armenia Bonito before Christmas. We visited families we’ve known for years, said goodbyes and gave out Christmas gifts. We gave food, baby clothes and blankets. Thanks to a great church in MD we also handed out 60 kids gift bags full of a toys, school supplies and hygiene items. Read more here: http://bit.ly/1m7snfe
Farwell Tour Of La Ceiba Our little family was reunited in Honduras over Christmas break.
Maddy’s Last Trip Home Thanks to an anonymous gift of airline tickets our daughter Maddy was able to return to Honduras during Christmas break from John Brown University. She spent time with us and said goodbye to her childhood home. She visited friends and enjoyed family in what is likely her final visit.

Our family spent much of the past two months sharing private meals with fellow missionaries, friends and national partners. This gave us a chance to laugh, cry, say farewell and let people know how much they meant to us. It is important for us to end well after 7 ½ years of ministering in Honduras.
Our Tentative Schedule 1/3-2/5 - Erin in Belgium training new missionaries 2/8 - Mike & Erin leave Honduras 3/30 - Mike & Erin depart for Equatorial Guinea
Our Specific Prayer Needs • Our daughter as she begins her fourth semester at John Brown University in Arkansas. • Erin as she spends all of January in Belgium helping to train new MTW missionaries. • Selling the rest of our belongings in January.
Four Articles Published This past month Mike and Erin had four missions articles published. Medical Missions published “Erin’s Story” (http://bit.ly/1NoMgVC). The Aquila Report published “Missions is People, Not Projects” (http://bit.ly/1lG8NpI) and “How to Care for Your Missionary on Furlough” (http://bit.ly/1RLtCg6) What a blessing to have our views read by so many others around the world.
