March Furlough Work In the past month we presented our ministry in AZ and CA. Mike and Erin spoke at churches in Phoenix, AZ and Elk Grove, CA. Mike preached twice and Mike and Erin put on a two-day missions conference in CA. Erin continued working fulltime with cancer patients at Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
Team Honduras Retreat Mike and Erin went to La Ceiba to participate in our annual Team Honduras retreat. Our 14 missionaries were joined by eight staff who helped facilitate the event. Our mission team was guided by MTW’s Global Training and Development through a team development training. Michael Lee provided counseling and the Global Youth and Family Development crew cared for the team’s kids. It was a quality time of praying, planning and study.
In January Mike gave a speech called “How Could God Use A Missionary Like Me?” The honesty and vulnerability resonated with many people. Since then the speech has been turned into a popular article and published by MTW. You can read the original post here: http://bit.ly/1B4eH3W

Our Specific Prayer Needs • Family stress during transition and change. • Mike will be working at the Gospel Coalition Conference in FL. Pray he glorifies the Lord. • We can raise additional monthly support so we can return to Honduras on May 9th.
CA Missions Conference Mike and Erin hosted a mission conference at Soaring Oaks Presbyterian Church in Elk Grove, CA. Over 50 attended the two-day event. Mike taught on Acts 1:8, Romans 12 and on missionary David Brainerd. Erin taught on mercy ministry and about our work in Honduras and beyond. The group shared a meal and prayed together.
