No. CA Visits Honduras The Northern California Presbytery sent a shortterm mission team consisting of missionaries from three churches in our home region. Trip To Southern Honduras Mike and Erin drove the five hours to southern Honduras. We spent two days looking at new homes for us in the capital city of Tegucigalpa. Then we spent two days in the city of Siguatepeque checking in on our new teammates the Halbert family and the language school they attend.
Erin Evaluates Missionaries Erin spent five days in Atlanta evaluating and counseling future MTW missionaries. She helped evaluate 10 missionary candidates at MTW’s Readiness Evaluation (REV). REV is a very intense, 10+ hours per day event where the candidates are placed in stressful, cross-cultural scenarios and evaluated by the counselors. This month we hosted a team from Briarwood Presbyterian Church from Birmingham, AL. Briarwood came to Honduras to learn about our mission team and ministry. They are exploring how we might join together to glorify Jesus in Honduras.

Our Specific Prayer Needs • Our daughter Maddy as she returns to the US to begin her second year of college. • Safety and energy as our family makes several international trips in the next five weeks. • The expansion of our seminary & church planting.
Missions Article Published In the past month Mike had a missions article published by Reformation21. The article is titled Instruction On Missions To The Church At Corinth (http://bit.ly/1HI4NyM). The article looks at the Apostle Paul’s teaching on missions in his two letters to the Corinthians. It is an amazing honor to have Mike’s writings on missions to be viewed by so many people around the world.
Mike was the guest youth group leader in Siguatepeque, Honduras.
