Goodbye To Honduras After calling Honduras home for 7 ½ years it has been very emotional to say goodbye. These last few months have been hard on our family. It is thrilling to know the ministry we launched back in 2008 will flourish long after we leave. The tears and hugs in the past few months have been plentiful. Praise God for the time he gave us in La Ceiba.

Second Pastors Conference Team Honduras organized the second annual Central American Presbyterian Pastors conference. The three-day event was attended by 25 national pastors and MTW missionaries from Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Belize and Honduras. Dr. Richard Ramsay taught on “How to Build the Kingdom of God in My Church.” It was a wonderful event.
Erin Mentoring In Belgium For all of January Erin has been helping to train new MTW missionaries in Brussels, Belgium. Erin and other mentors prepared 20+ new missionaries before they head out to their ministry sites. Erin did a great job training the new missionaries from her wisdom and years of missions experience.
Our daughter Maddy is back in Arkansas to begin her fourth semester at John Brown University. She is taking a full load of courses including three art classes for her Graphic Design major. She has a great core group of friends and is attending a local PCA church. She had a fun Christmas in Honduras saying goodbye to her childhood home.
Our Tentative Schedule 2/5 - Erin returns from Belgium to Honduras 2/8 - Mike & Erin leave Honduras 3/30 - Mike & Erin depart for Equatorial Guinea
Our Specific Prayer Needs • Our seven-weeks driving through the U.S. • Erin’s travels between Belgium, Honduras and the U.S. are on time and mundane. • Our final farewells to Honduras go well.
Three Articles Published This past month Mike had three missions articles published. The Gospel Coalition published “Why Your Church Should Support Fewer Missionaries” (http://bit.ly/1SwyIhD). Reaching & Teaching published “Be Gone Perfect Missionary” (http://bit.ly/1T8hW7Q). The Aquila Report published “Missions Through Red, White & Blue Colored Glasses” (http://bit.ly/1OPKHRv). What a blessing to have Mike’s views read by so many others around the world.
