About + Mission The Leamington Arts Centre (LAC) is located in the heart of South Western Ontario’s beautiful uptown Leamington in one of the town’s many wonderful heritage buildings. The LAC is a state of the art gallery which offers three exhibition spaces with over 300 linear feet of continuous wall space and 2000sq/ ft. of floor space, as well as: the Erie Quest Heritage Ship Wreck museum, a gift shop, art classes, workshops and meeting spaces. The LAC is one of the area’s paramount places to view modern art with an emphasis on aspiring artists and artisans. The South Essex Arts Association is dedicated to creating and sustaining a celebration of the human spirit through the nurturing of the arts within our community. In partnership with the various art mediums and other disciplines within the arts culture promotes, fosters and stimulates the appreciation of the arts. Through artistic events and exhibitions the LAC assists in preserving all forms of art within the community.

Eligibility & Terms

This exhibition is open to ALL (adults and children) amateur photographers. Enter your best 8”X10” sized prints ONLY (no frame or mat) in the categories of: 1. Parts and Peices, 2. Insects and Animals 3. Rain or Shine There is NO limit on the number of entries. As part of your entry fee your photo will be professionally matted. All photos entered will be displayed in the show in January. * The LAC/ SEAA defines an amateur photographer as anyone who photographs as a hobby and does not earn from their photography on a regular basis or who has not had substantial training/experience in photography.

Entries will be judged objectively on the basis of creativity, visual impact, technique and relevance to the category. Digitally enhanced entries will be judged together with analogue (film) entries. How to Enter Sale Price (NFS if not for sale)

1. Complete entry form in advance 2. Attach labels to back of photographs 3. Drop off photographs along with completed entry form and payment before deadline.

Fee

A non-refundable hanging fee of $10 per artwork for SEAA/LAC members and $12 for non-members must accompany the entry form. Cheques made payable to the Leamington Arts Centre.

Sales Sale Price (NFS if not for sale)

All sales will be handled through SEAA/LAC. A commission of 25% for SEAA/LAC members and 30% for non-members will be collected on all sales.
