iMTM Class Company visits - November

iMTM Students at Osotspa Plat Tour

On November 10th, students in International Modern Trade Business Management program (iMTM) embarked for company visits to two of the biggest beverage firms in Thailand, Osotspa Plant Tour and Tan land. The visits were led by iMTM, as a part of Business Managerial Marketing subject, under the PIM concept. iMTM Students at Tan Land, Ichitan Group Pcl.

International Program Newsletter - November Issue 2016 Trip to Chiang Mai On November 15th, PIM participated in “10th anniversary of Prem Careers and College Fair” at Prem Tinsulanonda nternational School, Chiang Mai. Approximately 300 students,. including parents from several international schools in Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai had joined in this fair to find out more about their timelines and routes into worldwide universities and colleges.

iMTM program was included and presented in the workshop session and had received a great feedback from the students and parents. On November 16th, PIM visited Wichai Wittaya Bilingual School and had a chance to meet the school’s academic counselor to discuss about future cooperation between the school and PIM. On November 21st, PIM participated in the Careers and college fairs at NIVA international schools and also received a great feedback from the students and teachers.

Panyapiwat Institute of Management was invited by The Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW), a Partner University in Germany, to attend a two days workshop on Blended Learning International Cooperation (BLIC). Dr. Veerisa Chotiyaputta – Director of Curriculum (International College), represented Panyapiwat for the event. It was an exciting two-day workshop at DHBW Campus . Working together with the talented teams from Eastern Kentucky University, USA and DHBW team to address the increasing need to integrate innovative learning

approaches into the curriculum was the main agenda . The possibility of Triangular collaboration between DHBW, Eastern Kentucky and PIM was also the topic of discussion. Besides, Dr. Veerisa met our iMBA students: Mr. Roshan Khadka from Nepal and Mr. Riguen Unique from Cambodia who are currently participating in the semester abroad program at DHBW. These two iMBA students received Baden-Wuerttemberg Foundation Scholarship to study as the exchange students at DHBW Villingen-Schwenningen Campus for 3 months period.

Visit to Asian Institute of Technology and Management (AITM), Nepal

PIM’s Assistant to the President– Ms. Parichart Buakao together with Deputy Executive Director– Ms. Tanarat Teeratanakiat set off on their journey to Kathmandu, Nepal from 8th to 11th of November with an objective to strengthen engagement with educational institute and partner corporation to explore new opportunity for the future collaboration. Throughout the trip, our executives from PIM received the opportunity to visit many dignitaries of various organizations, International Schools and Universities. The visit was believed to foster stronger tie between Educational Institute/Corporate and increase the visibility of Panyapiwat Institute of Management in Nepal.

“My name is Puttipong Anantasopon and I am a Lecturer in Economics and International Business at Panyapiwat Institute of Management (PIM). I hold a Master of Arts in International Business from Anglia Ruskin University (UK), Master of Science in International Management from University of Applied Sciences and Northwestern of Switzerland, Graduate Diploma in Advanced Research of Business and Management from Brunel University (UK), and Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Thai Chamber of Commerce. My research has been accepted for publication (The Operational Research Society) and in leading academic conferences (Production and Operation Management Society, and Logistic Research Network)”.

My name is Vanda Nogrady. I'm Hungarian, but I moved to Thailand 8 years ago. I've been living here ever since. I got my Bachelor's degree in International business from Ramkhamhaeng University. My Master's degree is in Entrepreneurship from the International College of NIDA. My professional background is diverse; including supply chain management, logistics and marketing. Recently I joined the iMTM program as a full-time lecturer.

Born in France and raised in an Asian family, my multicultural background has built my passion to work internationally. I graduated with a Master degree in International Business Administration in France and a MBA in Taiwan. My working experience in Taiwan, Singapore, China and France has forged my expertise in sales and international business. I’m currently lecturer for iMTM program at the faculty of Business Administration. I give lecture in Sales and Services standards for Modern Trade Business as well as International Business Management for students in iMTM program.
