Alternate Weekend Bus Service What’s happening:
Metro-North will perform necessary rock slope/track work along the Port Jervis Line. To accommodate this work, buses will substitute for several weekend Port Jervis Line trains between Port Jervis and Harriman stations beginning at 11 PM Fridays and continuing through 7 PM Sundays on the following weekends:
Friday, October 24 to Sunday, October 26 Friday, October 31 to Sunday, November 2 Friday, November 7 to Sunday, November 9
During these times, all eastbound trains will originate at Harriman.
● Customers traveling from Port Jervis, Otisville, Middletown, Campbell Hall and Salisbury Mills-Cornwall will board shuttle buses to Harriman Station, where they will transfer to the train. ● Salisbury Mills-Cornwall buses will depart 10 minutes ahead of the train time. Buses at all other stations will depart at train times.
All westbound trains beginning with train 41/69 (12:40 AM departure from Hoboken/ 12:34 AM from New York-Penn Station) late Friday/early Saturday until train 79 (4:04 PM departure from Hoboken/3:56 PM from New York-Penn Station) on Sunday evening.
● Normal service resumes on Sunday evening with train 79 (6:13 PM departure from Hoboken/6:07 PM from New York-Penn Station).
Customers traveling west of Harriman (toward Port Jervis) will transfer at Harriman Station for shuttle bus service to their destination. For information, please call NJ TRANSIT Customer Service at 973-275-5555 between 8:30 AM and 5 PM daily.
