The 18st AIRSpace at Harrington Library is a place to learn, share, and create! Engage with artists as they work in the space; spark your creativity and make something wonderful at a workshop; or go free-form with make & take materials! Artists rotate monthly and dates/times in residence are featured on the library website. Workshops are offered twice a month on a first-come, first-served basis. Make & Take projects are available to create based on the artistic style of the current artist in residence.

Nuray didn’t start out as an artist, but she has always loved art. She has taken classes and workshops from the masters in Istanbul, Turkey and is working with Ebru, water marbling, an ancient art form from centuries ago

Anousheh Ansari is a living example of the American Dream. She immigrated to the United States as a teenager who did not speak English. She immersed herself in education, earned three degrees, and became an engineer, successful entrepreneur, and the first female private space explorer. As she launched her company, Prodea Systems, in 2006, she also blasted off for an eight-day expedition aboard the International Space Station.
