January 11, 2017 Dear Parents of PVHS Students,
The 32nd annual Right After Prom (RAP) party will be held Saturday, May 6th from 11:30 p.m. until 3:00 a.m. in the PVHS gymnasiums. RAP provides Pleasant Valley High School students with a drug and alcohol-free environment complete with fun games, refreshments, live entertainment and valuable door prizes. All junior and senior PVHS students are invited to attend RAP whether or not they attend prom. One junior or senior is limited to inviting one individual underclassman. One junior or senior cannot invite a group of underclassmen. Pleasant Valley High School PTA is very proud to sponsor one of the best after-prom parties in the area and typically hosts nearly 500 students each year. This success is a direct credit to the generous support we receive from our community and parents. Since this event is primarily funded by donations*, we are asking for your enthusiastic support to carry on our tradition of providing a fun, safe after-prom celebration. Please consider a donation to Right After Prom. You may now donate online on the Pleasant Valley High School website. Under Explore High School, click on the PTA link, then click on the Right After Prom (RAP) link (on the right) and follow the instructions. If you wish to mail a check, please complete the bottom portion of this letter and mail it with your donation in the enclosed envelope by February 28th. We are also in need of people to volunteer at the event and for businesses that might be willing to support RAP with a corporate donation. If you would like to volunteer at the event or know of a business that might help, please indicate on the form below and we will make the contact. Thank you for your thoughtful consideration.
