Poetry Inspired by Art Poets are invited to write poems inspired by the artworks in the exhibition and participate in a poetry reading here in our galleries. The poems are displayed adjacent to the artworks, with the permission of the artist and are also available in notebooks for perusal by our visitors. Beginning when the exhibitions open, poets can write their poems in our galleries, or photograph the artwork for reference and write their poems later. Poets have the opportunity to meet and talk with the artists at the opening reception. Completed poems should be emailed to [email protected], preferably in 12 point font and as a Word document. Include the name of the poem, your name and the artist name and title of artwork. CHTAC reserves the right to reject any submission for any reason, at its discretion. We hope you will participate in the upcoming Poetry Reading, and we invite you to contact your friends who are poets or poetry lovers who might also be interested in attending.
