Race 1 - 2:10pm. THE BELINDA CARLISLE AT 80S NIGHT ON 25TH MAY EBF NOVICE STAKES (CLASS 5)

Following the race, Paul Hanagan reported that BENGALI SPIRIT (IRE), placed second, hung right from 2 furlongs out and the Veterinary Officer subsequently reported that the colt had lost its right fore shoe; Nathan Evans reported that GANTON EAGLE, unplaced, ran green. Race 2 - 2:40pm. THE NAPOLEONS CASINO BRADFORD HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 4)

Permission was given for BROTHER MCGONAGALL to be mounted in the chute. Following the race, Paul Mulrennan reported that LOMU (IRE), unplaced, ran too freely. The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the gelding failed to reveal any abnormalities. Race 3 - 3:10pm. THE RIU HOTELS AND RESORTS HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 2)

Permission was given for BOUNDSY (IRE) and RASHEEQ (IRE) to go early to post. Following the race, David Allan reported that ORION’S BOW, placed third, was denied a clear run and Joe Fanning reported that SHOW PALACE, unplaced, ran too free. The representative of Roger Varian reported that ATLETICO (IRE), which started favourite and finished unplaced, was unsuited by the Good to Soft, Soft in Places going which he considered to be tacky and holding. Race 4 - 3:40pm. THE PONTEFRACT MARATHON HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 5) (Round 2 of the Pontefract Stayers Championship 2018)

Permission was given for MADAME LILIBET (IRE) to be mounted in the chute. MADAM LILIBET (IRE), had initially been very reluctant to leave the parade ring, before planting approximately 3 furlongs out making the start of the race late off. During the race, the mare pulled herself up to a stand-still passing the parade ring entrance. Sharon Watt was interviewed. Taking into account that MADAM LILIBET (IRE) has a history of unruly behaviour, Watt was informed that any future similar behaviour from the mare may result in the horse being reported to the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority Race 5 - 4:10pm. THE MARK HACKETT MEMORIAL NOVICE STAKES (CLASS 5) (DIV I)

Permission was given for OUR OYSTERCATCHER to go early to post. Following the race, Tom Eaves reported that OUR OYSTERCATCHER, placed third, hung left; Dane O’Neill reported that SHATHARAAT (IRE), unplaced, lost its action. The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the colt failed to reveal any abnormalities; Andrew Mullen reported that SUPER D J (IRE), placed fourth, ran green. The Veterinary Officer subsequently reported that on return to the stable yard, SHATHARAAT (IRE) was lame on its left fore. Race 6 - 4:40pm. THE MARK HACKETT MEMORIAL NOVICE STAKES (CLASS 5) (DIV II)

Permission was given for DRAGSTONE ROCK (IRE) to be mounted on the course and go early to post. Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that SILVANUS (IRE), unplaced, was lame on its left

hind and Nathan Evans reported that BOP IT, placed fifth, ran too freely. Race 8 - 5:45pm. THE RUGBY LEAGUE EVENING ON MONDAY 11TH JUNE HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 5)

Permission was given for THE KNOT IS TIED (IRE) to go early to post. Coming out of the final bend, HILBOROUGH, unplaced, lugged left causing the rider of STARBOY (IRE), unplaced, to switch but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved. Following the race, the representative of George Scott reported that STARBOY (IRE) was unable to get into the race due to a wide draw and Andrew Mullen reported that DALAWYNA (FR), placed second, hung right.
