POPSICAL SING-OFF 2017 Guidelines to Submitting Audition Video > Please complete this online registration, like our page Popsical Karaoke on Facebook and follow us @PopsicalKaraoke on Instagram to be considered eligible for this contest. > To ensure that your audition video is exclusively for Popsical Sing-Off 2017, please mention P opsical Sing-Off 2017 at the start of your video, followed by your audition song recording.
> The audition video must be within 40-60s. The audition video must not exceed 1 minute. > The audition video must not contain any music accompaniment or sound effect. It has to be a raw acapella.
> You are encouraged to maximise the duration and to start from any verse that fully shows your potential. > You must send us a Youtube url/link to your audition video. > The audition video should be clear enough to see your facial expressions and your volume must be audible to clearly hear your vocal quality, articulation and tone. > We may request for re-submission of or disqualify your audition video if your video does not match our requirement or if it could not play from our end. > Please submit your audition video by 30th June 2017. Late entries will not be entertained. Judging criteria for preliminary round are as follows: ● ● ● ●
Number of likes, shares and views of video (35%) Vocal quality (40%) Articulation (20%) Visual appeal (5%).
Only the top 15 will proceed to the final round. Kindly keep 5th August and 12th August 2017 vacant for finals. PLEASE KEEP THIS PORTION FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.

Contestants are required to have their own personal Facebook and Instagram account to be eligible to contest. Contestants are required to ‘like’ our Facebook page at Popsical Karaoke and follow us on our Instagram page @PopsicalKaraoke to be eligible to contest. Use of vulgar, sexually explicit, controversial and/or violent language is strictly prohibited. Contestants are to remain contactable by the Organizer throughout the competition period. The Judges’ decisions on the results are Final. No correspondence or appeal shall be entertained. Purchase of Facebook ‘likes’ is strictly prohibited and will result in disqualification of participant. All participants agree and automatically grant permission to the Organizer on the usage of their photographs and/or videos taken as well as posting of their names for advertising, promotional and publicity purposes. By submitting personal information for registration, all participants acknowledge that they have read through the competition Rules & Regulations and consent to allow the Organizer to use all personal information for administrative purposes and data analysis. All personal data provided will be kept confidential at all times. All participants agree that if they proceed to the final round, they will be required to promote PopsicalKaraoke on their Facebook and Instagram profiles. The Organizer reserves the right to change any of the rules and regulations without prior notice. The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any contestant if he/she does not adhere to any of the above rules and regulations. Winner is to respond and collect his/her prize within 1 month from 12th August 2017. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of prize for him/her. The next winner in line will be presented with the prize.
