Postdoctoral fellowship at the Interuniversity PhD Program in History and Philosophy of the Life Science, Israel

The Interuniversity PhD Program in History and Philosophy of the Life Science(IHPLS) seeks applications for a 2-year postdoctoral fellowship starting on October 1, 2016. The successful candidate has a background in either history or philosophy of biology and proven research abilities. The post doctoral fellow will be expected to take part in the activities of the IHPLS program, interact with students, and aid in mentoring students, but will otherwise be free to pursue their own project. No teaching is required. The fellow will be primarily affiliated with the Cohn Institute for the History and Philosophy of Science and Ideas at Tel Aviv University. Candidates are encouraged to contract us with any questions. Second year is conditional on success in first year. The program is run jointly between Tel Aviv University, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and Bar Ilan University. It is generously supported by The Humanities Fund of the Council for Higher Education and the Yad Hanadiv foundation.
