POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP POSITION Laboratory of Molecular Physiology (Universitat Pompeu Fabra; Parc de Recerca Biomèdica de Barcelona). We offer a Postdoctoral Position in the Laboratory of Molecular Physiology at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona) to work in Basic Research in Alzheimer’s Disease with the group of Dr. Francisco J. Muñoz. The specific project to be developed addresses the “Study of new regulators associated to calcium signaling in neurons that affect to amyloid production and neurotoxicity”. This project will be performed over 2-3 years by the candidate with the support of all the members of the lab. Candidate Requirements - It is COMPULSORY that the PhD was obtained between 1st January 2010 and 31th December 2015. - Have completed a postdoctoral stay outside Spain for a minimum period of two years. - Not having resided or worked in Spain for more than 12 months in the last three years prior to the date of submission of the application. - 2 or more articles at least as first author in international peer-reviewed and indexed journals. - Background in Cell cultures, Western Blot analysis and Molecular Biology techniques. - Experience in basic research in Alzheimer’s disease or other neurodegenerative processes will be advantageous.
