POWERFUL PROJECT AGES 4–7

AUGUST 2013

CHARITY FIRST & LAST NAME:____________________________________

Charity means “I give to those in need!” We can give to those in need by (1) Giving some of our treasures, such as gently worn clothes, toys, shoes and of course, money; (2) Using some of our talents, such as helping to build houses, reading to those who can’t see, performing for those who are lonely or running/walking/kicking/dancing/flipping/swimming to raise money for a cause; and (3) Donating our time by picking up litter in the parks, spending time with a lonely patient in the hospital or helping animals in animal shelters who don’t have homes. Look below and circle ways we can help those in need.

Kate grew a lot this year! She looked in her closet and wondered what she could give to charity. Circle the items you think she can donate to those in need.

Ty and Joe were looking through their kitchen cabinets and cupboards to see what they could give to charity. Circle the items you think they can donate.

Casey and Phillip decided to collect supplies for a local animal shelter. Circle the items you think they should collect that will help the shelter animals.

Draw something YOU can give to charity!
