Grades and Attendance Graduation Progress Fees and Account Balance Schedule View and Update Registration Information
PowerSchool Parent Portal The PowerSchool Parent Portal allows the parents or guardians of a student the ability to create their own individualized account, view vital student progress information, update important contact information, choose how to receive messages from the school and view schedule information. When accessing the PowerSchool Parent Portal for the first time a new Parent Account must be created. For security reasons the creation of this account requires an Access ID and Access Password which is provided by the school. Once you have obtained these codes you can begin creating an account.
Account Creation 1. To begin the account creation process, navigate to https://ps.kibsd.org using a web browser on your device (It is possible to use a smart phone to access the parent portal but it is not recommended as it will become difficult to navigate). Once you get to the “Student and Parent Sign In” page (see image below) click on the Create Account tab.

2. Then click on the Create Account button
3. Begin entering the information in the “Create Parent Account” section which includes your First and Last name, email address, Username (we strongly recommend using your email address as your username as it is guaranteed to be unique and is easy to remember), Password (passwords must be at least 6 characters long), and Password confirmation.

4. Scroll down the page and enter the “Link to Student Accounts” portion. This is the section where you enter the Access ID and Access Password that were provided by the school. This information is required for each student you wish to link to your account.
5. After entering access information for all of your students, click the Enter button at the bottom of the screen. If all of the information is correct you will be directed back to the “Student and Parent Sign In” with a message stating that account creation was successful as seen in the image below.
