Preparing for the future A view of healthcare in Wales post Brexit Friday 21 July 2017, 9:00am – 12:00pm Muller Hall, All Nations Centre, Cardiff Many aspects of the UK health and social care services have been influenced by European Union policies and legislation. Depending on the settlement, the exit from the EU could have profound implications for the UK economy, the healthcare workforce and delivery of public services. Although the future landscape is uncertain, there is an opportunity to explore and further understand the potential implications for healthcare in Wales as we forge a new relationship with the EU. The Welsh NHS Confederation welcomes anyone with an interest in health, social care and wellbeing to join our Preparing for the Future seminar. The seminar will look further at some of the potential outcomes of Brexit and offers stimulating group discussion and networking opportunities. The event is an opportunity to hear from speakers who will offer insight and expertise into key aspects of health and social care services that may be effected by Brexit including, workforce, employment law, research, trials and innovation.
