Two Former ST Marine Senior Executives Charged With Corruption On 1 July 2015, two former Singapore Technologies Marine Limited (ST Marine) senior executives will be charged in Court for the following offences: i.
Former ST Marine President of Commercial Business, Tan Mong Seng One count of engaging in a conspiracy to corruptly give gratification to one Pyo Sei Jin, an agent of Hyundai Engineering and Construction Limited, amounting to $43,721.00, an offence under Section 6(b) read with Section 29(a) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, Chapter 241.

Former ST Marine Chief Operating Officer, Han Yew Kwang Eight counts of engaging in a conspiracy to corruptly give gratification to agents of ST Marine’s customers, amounting to $790,772.00, an offence under Section 6(b) read with Section 29(a) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, Chapter 241.
2 Five former ST Marine senior executives have already been charged with various offences related to the granting of ship repair contracts. Their cases are before the Courts. They are: i. ii. iii. iv. v.
Former ST Marine President, See Leong Teck; Former ST Marine President, Chang Cheow Teck; Former ST Marine Senior Vice-President, Mok Kim Whang; Former ST Marine Group Financial Controller, Ong Tek Liam; and Former ST Marine Group Financial Controller, Lee Swee Ching

3 Singapore adopts a zero tolerance approach towards corruption. The Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau (CPIB) takes a serious view of any corrupt practices, and will not hesitate to take action against any party involved in such acts.
