On Thursday, November 9, 2017, at 6:48 a.m., San Bruno Police Officers responded to the report of a suspected vehicle burglary in progress in the Caltrain Parking Lot on San Mateo Avenue, in San Bruno. Upon their arrival, Officers located forty-six year old Matthew Spessard of Redwood City, inside of the vehicle that was reported to have been burglarized. The ensuing investigation revealed that Spessard had broken one of the vehicle’s windows to access its interior. Spessard was arrested and booked into San Mateo County Jail for charges relating to vehicle burglary and the possession of controlled substance paraphernalia.
