Purpose of the Role
What we’re looking for?
Your role will be to ensure Skedaddle has a product portfolio that meets our brand ethos, growth aspirations and provides our customers with fantastic experiences, each and every time! As Product Development Manager you’ll be responsible for planning and resourcing new trips, helping to grow our range and inspire more customers to take up a two wheeled journey with us. An essential part of your position will be to work closely with both our office team and extended partners to continue providing our customers with the best product possible.
We are looking for a Product Development Manager who can create a customer focused, safe and profitable range of cycling holidays, which are both innovative and compelling. You are likely to come from a product development or marketing background, have a passion for travel and cycling, be an excellent communicator and a genuinely enthusiastic person who is excited by the prospect of trying something a little bit different. This is a fantastic opportunity to become an integral part of our growing company and become part of an exciting, unique brand in the North East.
Key Tasks • Create and own the product development process • Planning and resourcing the development of new trips • Ensuring Skedaddle has a clear overall product strategy and the portfolio meets certain key criteria • To work with product managers and marketing team on regular review of customer feedback, sales and profit margins for each category • Regular meetings with our partners • Develop and manage product development budget • Sales and category analysis to guide future product development • To ensure effective communication and regular review of progress
