This STEM activity is a multi-faceted, hands-on investigation connecting various topics in algebra, functions, patterns, geometry, measurement, and the technology of the graphing calculator. Concepts explored include rate of change, perimeter, area, volume, algebraic expressions, functions, patterns, equations, graphing, estimation, construction, and measurement. All of the topics explored are applicable and correlative to the Common Core Standards in Mathematics.
