Dear Friends, A warm welcome to all this evening and a sincere thank you for joining us for our 2014 Auction Gala “To Everything There Is a Season.” Our parish of St. Stephen Protomartyr is special in so many ways. Your presence here tonight tells me that you feel the same way. Our church and school are the heart and soul of our family of faith. I am certain that each and every one of you wants to keep these treasures strong and growing for generations to come. We are pleased to present this event once again and hope that you enjoy the transformation of our Parish Center to a ‘60s celebration. This Gala provides a special opportunity to catch up with old friends and make some new ones, and at the same time browse, buy, donate, and take part in any number of raffles. But most of all, please enjoy the evening while you support the parish. An event like this does not happen overnight. I would like to express my appreciation for all the hard work that makes this night possible. A special thanks to chairs Victoria Hatfield and Stephanie Wobbe, as well as to every single volunteer involved with this event. Your dedication and hours of service are appreciated. On behalf of the committee I extend my sincere gratitude to all of you here tonight in attendance. Great things happen when God mixes with the people of the St. Stephen Protomartyr community. Peace,

GENERAL INFORMATION Specific rules for Oral and Silent Auctions, Sign-Up Parties, and Raffles are found in the book before the sections listing those items.

General Auction Rules:   

All sales are final. There will be no refunds or exchanges. Payment for items auctioned is mandatory on January 31, 2014. All goods and services purchased at the Gala will be used at the sole risk of the purchaser, and neither the Gala nor St. Stephen Protomartyr will be responsible for any damage or injury occurring to any user of said purchased goods and services. All items are sold as-is.

Express Pay: No checking out is needed at the end of the evening, no waiting, no lines, no hassle. Present a Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover debit/credit card at the Cashier’s office before 8:30 p.m. Your purchases are charged to your debit/credit card and a final statement will be mailed to you. If you do not sign up for Express Pay, payment must be collected at the Cashier after 10 p.m. Payments are accepted as cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover credit cards.

All goods are to be taken with the successful bidder at the close of the auction. Successful bidders on items such as dinners and services will be given a certificate for that item. We expect that Gala guests will drink responsibly. However, we will arrange transportation home for anyone who requests it.

We have made every effort to provide you with accurate information. We regret any errors or omissions.

The Gala Committee would like to take a moment to thank every person who touched this event, from the rectory staff to the school faculty to the students, parents, parishioners, alumni, donors, and friends of St. Stephen Protomartyr. This event would not be possible without you. We especially want to thank Amanda Quinn, Meghan Bohac, Mary Regan, Fr. Ron, and The Holy Name Society. This event is the culmination of our community’s time, talent, and treasure. We are proud to present the 2014 Auction Gala: “To Everything There Is a Season.” Have a way-out evening.
