ABOUT THE GEYER FAMILY BRANCH The Geyer Family Branch is a one of kind facility designed specifically for families to learn, grow and explore together. Our Y is dedicated to offering dynamic programs and classes for children 6 months - 6 years of age and their families. Your child can learn how to swim or dance, play sports in the gym, explore the arts, learn how to cook, become a hands-on scientist and adjust to an educational setting in our pre-school readiness programs— all under one roof. In the summer we offer high quality day camps for a variety of age groups. Whether it is learning important life skills in the pool, building self-esteem in the gym or unleashing their imagination and creativity in the arts, the Geyer Family Branch is a great place to grow!

• The Geyer Family Branch is a NUT AWARE facility. For the safety of all members and guests, please do not bring nut products into the building. • For the safety of your children and for program quality purposes, parent & child classes are for one child and one adult. Siblings are not permitted in the program area unless noted by the class description. If you need childcare during those times, please refer to The Tot Spot nursery schedule on page 6. • Child only classes are for children only. Parents are welcome to sit in the lobby areas. Most classes offer an observation day/recital at the end of the session. • For program planning and staffing purposes, class transfers/changes can only be made during the first two weeks of the session, depending on availability. • The Geyer Family Branch does not observe all holidays. If the facility is open during a holiday, we cannot issue credits, refunds or make ups for missed classes. Please plan accordingly.

REFUND POLICY

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY

• All membership payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. • Should the YMCA of Montclair find it necessary to cancel a class due to low enrollment, a full refund will be issued on program fees. • A 75% refund of program fees will be made if notice is given at least one week prior to the start of a program. Refunds will not be issued once a program session has started. • Due to safety reasons and instructor/ student ratios, make up classes will not be given for classes missed. Refunds and/or credits will not be issued due to absences.

In case of inclement weather, members are encouraged to call the Geyer Family Branch at 973-783-7640 for up-to-date information regarding program cancellations, delayed openings of the facility or closures. There will be a staff member or recorded message informing you of our status. PLEASE ASSUME WE ARE OPEN: We only send out an email notification if there is a closure. During the winter/spring seasons we will make every effort to remain open. However, we do want to make sure that all our members and staff remain safe during any inclement weather event and we reserve the right to delay the opening or close the facility. Make-ups are not available for classes cancelled due to inclement weather due to scheduling conflicts and instructor/ student ratios. Credits and/or refunds will not be given.

Online/In-Person Registration: First Come, First Served Registration will take place in the following order: 1. Members with a current family membership. Family memberships are those families who have at least one current adult membership at the YMCA of Montclair Park Street Branch. 2. Members with a current kinder membership (only your child is a member with the YMCA of Montclair) and new members*. *New Members/Membership Renewals: In order to register online, your child must have a current membership. Note: You may register online or in person on the registration date(s) that apply to your child. All children must have a current membership to participate in our programs. THE TOT SPOT Nursery services are available for parents/caregivers who are in a class with one child and need care for siblings. Babysitting services are available during the Tot Spot operating hours. Our Tot Spot staff will take care of your little ones while you run errands or attend appointments and meetings. Our babysitting service is for members only. Up-to-date emergency contact information and allergy information must be on file. Please pack nut-free snacks, meals, bottles, juice, extra diapers, change of clothes, favorite toy, etc.

PRESCHOOL READINESS Our preschool readiness program develops skills that promote success in school and in life! Many early childhood education experts believe that readiness programs are significant and valuable. They are extremely helpful in providing the child with opportunities to develop social skills, listening skills, and the concept that we all follow rules to function in a group or community. I’m a Big Kid Now (Ages 2 - 3 years, must be 2 by 10/1/16) This class provides children their first group experience without a parent or caregiver. We provide a nurturing environment where your child can learn to socialize, develop foundation skills and build positive self esteem. Their day will include circle time, art, movement, snack, story time and group free play. Please pack your child a full extra set of clothing, a drink and a nut free, non-refrigerated snack. If your child is not potty trained, please pack extra diapers and wipes. I’m a Big Kid Now: Lunch Bunch Only for children in morning class (Ages 2 - 3 years, must be 2 by 10/1/16) This class is only for students signed up for I’m a Big Kid Now. This option extends your child’s day. They have the opportunity to expand their social skills by sharing mealtime with their friends. They will engage in a blend of active and quiet play that includes gym time, stories and songs. Please bring your own nut-free lunch! Next Step to Preschool (Ages 3 - 4 years, must be 3 by 10/1/16) This class will help your child get ready for the rigors of school. Our welcoming environment promotes the social and emotional growth your child will need before entering school. Through imaginative play, art, music and a developmentally appropriate curriculum, your child will embrace love of learning. Skills include number and letter recognition and beginning writing skills. Please pack a full extra set of clothes, a drink and one nut-free snack. If your child is not fully potty trained please send in extra diapers and wipes. Afternoon Preschool Enrichment (Ages 3 - 4 years, must be 3 by 10/1/16) This action-packed class provides additional enrichment for your child through circle time, fine motor and gross motor skills and recreational swimming! Our afternoon time will continue to improve your child’s skills by hands on lessons in a rotation of specialties including art, music, science, fitness and many more. We will eat lunch as a group and afterward will work on academic learning. If your child is not fully potty trained please send extra diapers, wipes and extra set of clothes including a towel and swimsuit. Please bring your own nut-free lunch! *There will be no swimming on Wednesdays.

CREATIVE ARTS

Our Creative Arts department has a wide variety of both parent & child and child only classes. From cooking, to art, to science, everyone can explore their inner creativity! Please contact Program Director, Amy Costa, with any questions: [email protected]

PARENT & CHILD:

Wee Little Artists (18 months - 2.5 years) A class with the perfect amount of structure and self driven open art creativity time! Each class will consist of two themed projects that work on fine motor skills like cutting, gluing and coloring that will be yours to take home to display. Two to three stations of endless supplies will be provided to participants, varying from week to week. Pint-Sized Picassos (Ages 2.5 - 3.5 years) Calling all artists! Bring a special grown-up and discover the joys of making arts and crafts. In our bright art room, explore materials and enhance fine motor skills in a relaxed environment. A different theme is explored each week. Stories, Songs & Scribbles (Ages 16 months - 2 years) A great introductory class for your little one where we will explore a story and theme each week. After the story we will learn songs, play with instruments and then do a basic art project. All projects will be age appropriate in this first creative arts combination class.

Sign Language (Ages 8 months - 3 years) It is a lovely way to help young children find alternate ways of expressing themselves through a multi sensory approach to communication. Join our certified ASL teacher who is ready to help you and your child communicate in new and exciting ways. Junior Explorers (Ages 2 - 3 years) This is a fun introduction to the wonders of science for little ones and their special grown-up. Each week, we will explore a different scientific theme and do a related project. Create ‘n’ Bake (Ages 2 – 3 years) This class will be a combination of art and cooking. Each week there will be a new seasonal theme reflected in both the food and crafts. Come taste and explore together!

Brunch Bunch (Ages 3 - 4 years) A cooking class just for the morning! Participants will be cooking recipes for breakfast or brunch throughout the session. If your child loves to help in the kitchen, join us and learn to expand your menu of yummy foods. Little Kids Kitchen (Ages 3 - 5 years) Cooking classes develop skills in many areas such as science, math and problem solving. This kind of learning is hands-on, fun and messy! A variety of foods from appetizers to desserts will be prepared throughout the session. Beginning Builders (Age 3 years) Join us in our wood shop to learn the basics of building. The safe use of tools will be introduced through simple projects. Wood, cardboard, styrofoam and recyclables will be used to create projects your child will be proud to bring home.

CHILD ONLY:

Nutrition Masters (Ages 4 - 6 years) Budding chefs will learn the fundamentals of cooking and acquire all the techniques, knife skills and ingredient preparation needed to make their own nutritious meals. Each week brings new foods, learning and fun that ends in a delicious meal.

Kids Café (Ages 4 - 6 years) If your child loves to help in the kitchen, they’ll enjoy expanding their menu of delicious recipes. A variety of foods from appetizers to desserts will be prepared and devoured in this experimental, hands-on class. This class will include recipes for lunch, dinner, snacks, and desserts throughout the session. Lil’ Scientist (Ages 3 - 4 years) This is a fun introduction to the wonders of science! Each week we will explore a different scientific theme and do a related project. The Lil’ Scientists will be asked to make predictions, observations and conclusions in a fun setting. Hammers & Nails (Ages 4 - 6 years) An introduction to the basics of building. Kids will make creative projects out of wood and other materials. Safe use of hand tools is taught while kids create fun and functional wood crafts. Science Explorers (Ages 5 - 7 years) Children will learn how the world around them works by participating in activities and experiments about earth science, physics, and chemistry. Science Explorers will be asked to make observations, predictions and conclusions about their experiments while having fun.

SCHOOL OF PERFORMING ARTS

Our School of Performing Arts (SOPA) offers formal dance training for children ages 3 and up. Parents will enjoy seeing their child’s progress in our bi-annual, free in-studio recitals. Our gentle and nurturing teachers make SOPA the perfect place for kids who want to try a class or two without a year-long commitment. Classes such as dance, music and yoga are offered in 8-week sessions as well as combo classes, so kids can sample and still get all the benefits of performing arts including: increased body awareness, better balance and interaction with new friends. PARENT & CHILD:

Toddler Tunes (Ages 2 - 3 years) Finger play, nursery rhymes and silly songs will enchant your toddler and encourage imagination, language and motor skills. Merry Music Makers (Ages 1 - 2 years) For the music maker who is ready to move, sing, clap and shake! Featuring simple rhythms and a variety of musical styles, children will be introduced to instruments such as drums and sticks. Adult participation is required.

Music and Movement (Ages 2 - 3 years) Exposure to music and movement is important in many ways to this age group! This class encourages a strong bond between grown-up and child and enhances language skills, coordination, and body awareness while fostering creative appreciation for tone, pitch and rhythm. Come have fun singing and dancing with us! Creative Movement (Ages 2 - 3 years) Experience a wonderful introduction to dance and movement through creative games, props and a delightful sense of play.

Itty Bitty Ballerinas (Ages 2 - 3 years) An amazing opportunity for caretakers to get exercise and ballet knowledge with their little dancers! Participants will learn basic ballet steps together as well as explore classical and contemporary music. Casual clothes required. Second Storey Sampler (Ages 2 - 3 years) This jam-packed combo class covers some of the best things that the YMCA has to offer on our second floor, or as we like to call it, our second storey. We offer two different activities each during the 45-minute class including: dance, art, music, and yoga. Parents and children alike will enjoy this class.

Princess Ballet (Ages 3 - 6 years) Calling all princesses to the perfect introduction and educational setting for ballet through the enchanting world of fairytales! Each week a different fairytale, such as Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty, will be explored with the use of props while learning classical ballet steps and French terminology. Every session and level will include new stories filled with creativity. Ballet shoes and dancewear are encouraged for this class.

CHILD ONLY:

Progressive Ballet: Four Levels (Ages 3 - 6 years) Introduce your young dancer to the world of ballet. Ballet engages children through the use of their imagination while learning proper ballet terms, correct body placement and gross motor skills and is beneficial for both boys and girls. Classroom etiquette is discovered and taught. These classes are separated into two age groups so children can thrive by learning age-appropriate skills. Ballet for this age group focuses on the same basic concepts of traditional barre work and more independent movement. Level 1: Pre Ballet 1 (Age 3 years) Level 2: Pre Ballet 2 (Age 4 years) Level 3: Ballet 1* (Ages 4+ years) Level 4: Ballet 2* (Ages 4+ years) (must be recommended/in-person registration) Mini Ballerinas (Ages 2 - 3 years) With a carefully structured class and gentle exposure to socialization skills, students will be introduced to large locomotor movement (hopping, sliding, marching, prancing and leaping) in the wonderful world of ballet. This class is designed for children that meet two requirements: they have taken a parent & child dance class previously and are 2 years or older. These requirements are put into place for the success of each student. Ballet for Beginners (Ages 3 - 5 years) This class combines movement and music to help students develop body awareness, rhythm, flexibility, coordination and confidence while learning ballet vocabulary. Students will have fun discovering ballet steps, terminology and the basics of dance in their first dance class.

Storybook Dance (Ages 3 - 4 years) Creative with lots of play. Through dance, props and a splash of acting each week a story will be explored. Participants will swim through the ocean, fly through the clouds, climb beanstalks and skip through the woods. Fun for boys and girls with a big imagination. Intro to Hip Hop (Ages 4 - 7 years) Introduce your child to choreography, techniques and fun! Casual attire with sneakers are encouraged for this active class. Little Stars (Ages 3 - 4 years) This class is a perfect match for kids who love to dance, move, jump and spin. Kids will release a ton of energy through creative movement games and a blend of dance techniques to upbeat music. This dance class with a splash of hip hop will be sure to please. Tap Your Toes (Ages 4 - 5 years) Does your child love to be loud? Tap Dance is such a fun way to explore rhythm and movement while learning so much about music at the same time. This class will perform in the June dance recital, costumes are provided by the Y for free. Tap shoes required.

GYM & SPORTS At the Geyer Family Branch we encourage our students to do a variety of physical activities daily to work on three important elements: endurance, strength and flexibility. Endurance is developed when children regularly engage in aerobic activity. Strength is enhanced when children climb and swing a bat. Flexibility is increased through stretching exercises, performing cartwheels, or reaching for a ball with a racquet. PARENT & CHILD:

• For your child’s safety only one adult/one child per class unless noted. • Children and adults are required to wear socks during parent & child gym classes. Gym Juniors (Ages 8 - 17 months) Join our instructors for a class full of wonder and discovery. Caregivers and children will explore the world around them through age-appropriate gym activities. Free play and circle time will be incorporated into each class to strike a perfect balance for our youngest participants. Gym Jumpers (Ages 18 months - 2.5 years) Caregiver and child will work with instructors to gain self-confidence in all of their newly acquired physical skills, helping child to become independent in a safe, fun and age-appropriate setting. Each class will include stimulating structured activities and free play time to keep your toddler engaged.

Little Tumblers (Ages 1.5 - 2.5 years) A parent child based gymnastics class where children learn fundamental gymnastics skills. Basic tumbling and using equipment such as the balance beam and bars make this an ideal first gymnastics class. Each class will focus on a different skill along with building the child’s motor skills, independence and balance. Gym Jammers (Ages 2.5 - 3.5 years) Children will really shine in this class which focuses on cooperation, self-confidence, independence and basic gymnastic skills. Each class begins with circle time and features a different piece of gym equipment each week. Sports Mix (Ages 2 – 3 years) Here is your chance to transition your child into their first sports coached class! Parents will join the action for the first three classes and then are encouraged to drop off. Enjoy the best of both worlds: seeing your child develop their sporting skills, while they gain independence in the gym.

CHILD ONLY:

Gymnastics Progressive Levels 1, 2, 3 Level 1 - Rock n’ Roll Gymnastics (Age 3 years) This class focuses on the beginning tumbling skills used in gymnastics such as forward rolls and fundamental jumps. Walking on the balance beam, keeping a steady balance and hanging from the bar will also be taught. Activities each week will improve flexibility, strength, coordination and balance. A great beginner class for the little gymnast in your life. Level 2 - Kindergymnastics (Ages 4 - 6 years) The next steps of gymnastic skill building will be taught in this Level 2 class. Using the same fundamentals used in Level 1, budding gymnasts will focus on improving those skills while building core strength and balance. Tumbling such as backward rolls and cartwheels will be taught and used as a foundation to the class. Skills on the balance beam and the bar are enhanced and expanded. A great class to improve and maintain skills Level 3 - Advanced Kindergymnastics (Ages 4 - 6 years) (must be recommended/in-person registration) This class is for the Kindergymastics student who has mastered key skills and qualified to advance to this level. This class will include a strong focus in advance tumbling such as cartwheels, roundoffs and backbends. Students will also work on the balance beam and learn how to tumble on the beam. Bar work will include pullovers and strength building. A challenging class for the gymnast ready to take on the next level!

Gymnastics Floor Exercise (Ages 4 - 8 years) This class focuses on tumbling and basic dance moves used by gymnasts. Children will practice forward rolls, backward rolls, cartwheels and backbends. This class features a strong emphasis on rhythmic gymnastics with a mix of floor tumbling. Basketball Progressive Levels 1,2,3 Level 1 - Super Star Basketball (Age 3 years) Bounce, bounce and bounce more! Dribbling, passing and teamwork will be introduced with fun games to develop basic basketball skills. Children will also learn how to dribble with both hands and the fundamentals of shooting. Level 2 - Basketball Bouncers (Ages 4 - 6 years) This class will focus on building and improving the skills developed in Level 1 while also learning new passing skills such as the bounce pass and the chest pass. Players will also learn how to dribble through cones and play defense. The last class will feature a championship game! Level 3 - Advanced Basketball (Ages 5 - 7 years) (must be recommended/in-person registration) Defense and offense! Children who are recommended for this class and who have taken Basketball Bouncers will work on rebounding, footwork, body control and more. Sharpen your skills on the court in this high energy class.

Soccer Progressive Levels 1, 2, 3 Level 1 - Superstar Soccer (Age 3 years) Dribble, pass, shoot and score! Join our coaches for this unique introduction to the world’s most popular sport. Participants will learn basic soccer skills through fun drills and teamwork. In the last week of the session, participants will take the field for the World Cup Final. Level 2 - Game Day Soccer (Ages 3 - 6 years) Let’s put all of those soccer skills to good use! The first half of every class will teach the basics of soccer including dribbling, passing, defending and shooting. During the second half, parents or caregivers can cheer us on during a real soccer game. Level 3 - Advanced Soccer (Ages 5 - 7 years) (must be recommended/in-person registration) This class is for the child who has taken Game Day Soccer and is recommended for the class by coaches. Players will improve shooting skills, advance dribbling and passing and better ball control through scrimmages and drills. Tennis Time (Ages 4 - 6 years) This fun class introduces the basics of tennis using great games and activities while building self esteem. Tennis develops hand eye coordination skills which will help your child succeed on and off the court. Tennis rackets are provided. Grand Slam Tennis Time (Ages 5 - 6 years) (must be recommended/in-person registration) This class is for the child who has taken Tennis Time and is ready for a new challenge. We will review and grow beginner skills. Children will have the opportunity to play against other players. Game, set, match! Little League Sports (Age 3 years) The perfect introduction to the world of sports for our youngest athletes! Get your child ready for our expansive kinder sports program by sampling a little of everything we have to offer in the large gym. Participants will improve their skills in sports including soccer, basketball, tennis, t-ball, track and field and more. Friday Night Sports Night (Ages 4 - 8 years) Join coaches in the gym for some supervised recreational sports free play. Each class will feature a different sport and children will be able to run, shoot, pass and score. The perfect choice for those with LOTS of energy who like to play, play and play some more.

Shape Up Mash Up (Ages 4 - 7 years) This class will get your child up and moving! Nothing is off limits: Zumba®, yoga, rock climbing, boot camp and more! Kindersports (Ages 4 - 6 years) Try them all! This fast-paced sports sample includes soccer, golf, basketball, track and field, tennis and sports fitness. Each sport will be practiced for two weeks. Parents are invited to the last class for a display of new skills. Flag Football (Ages 5 - 8 years) Pass, catch, run, dodge, weave...TOUCHDOWN! Join our coaches in this fast paced class. Players will love learning the drills and skills of their favorite sport. Slapshot Hockey (Ages 5 – 8 years) Learn the skills for a fun and fast hockey game—pass, shoot and score! In this fast and exciting class, participants will be introduced to basic skills through games and activities. Participates will take the “ice” for the Geyer Cup Final in the last class of the session. Track and Field (Ages 5 - 8 years) Lace up those sneaker and sprint, run, jump and throw all the way to the Geyer Kinder Olympics. Participants will improve their skills and then compete in a parent packed arena during with medals up for grabs for all! My Buddy & Me (Ages 18 months - 2.5 years) Love our gym and swim programs? Why not take a class where you can experience both in one day? My Buddy and Me is a structured gym class followed as a swim lesson and highlights different skills each week.

CHILD ONLY:

Little League Sports and Splash (Age 3 years) Our popular Little League Sports class with an added “splash!” After some great soccer, basketball, tennis or T-ball action in the gym, participants will head to the pool for a Starfish level (see description in Aquatics) swim class. Double the fun for the active child!

Road Runners (Age 3 years) A themed gym program designed to enhance physical and gross motor skills. This class will include both structured activities and supervised free play. After gym the children will be escorted to the pool for a Starfish level swim class (see description in Aquatics). The class begins in the gym; children need a swimsuit and towel in a labeled bag. Kindersports and Splash (Ages 4 - 6 years) All the fun of Kindersports paired up with a Kinderswim Bronze level swim class (see description in Aquatics). Dash & Splash (Ages 4 - 6 years) A themed gym program designed to enhance physical and gross motor skills. This class will include both structured activities and supervised free play. With a different theme each week, the class starts with an art project, followed by with gym time that focuses on gross motor skills and group games. Participants will then head to the pool for a Kinderswim Bronze level swim class (see description in Aquatics). Children need to pack a swimsuit and towel in a labeled bag.

AQUATICS The National Y program is a progression of sessions based on accomplishing a certain skill set of each level. A child will advance to the next level after completing the appropriate skill evaluation. Swimming is a skill building activity; most children will remain in a swim level for a few sessions while they master the required skills. In order to achieve the greatest benefit from swim lessons, attendance at every class is highly recommended. Due to safety reasons and instructor/student ratios, make-up classes will not be given for classes missed. Refunds and credits will not be issued due to absences.

PARENT & CHILD:

Bubble Babies (Ages 6 months – 12 months) This is your first opportunity to expose your infant to the wonderful world of water and safety. The focus for this class is to ensure your baby’s first experience is a positive one by guiding both the parent and baby in basic water orientation. You and your baby will experience a class filled with games, songs, safety skills, beginner swimming techniques and basic water adjustment. Children are required to wear a swim diaper.

Tiny Tots (Age 1 year) Expose your toddler to the adventurous world of water and safety. The child will learn to move through the water while the parent/guardian will become aware of how to teach the child to be safe and enjoy the water. Songs, water play and activities help acquaint the child with the pool. Children are required to wear a swim diaper. Tadpole I (Age 2 years) The primary objective of this class is to get both parent and child comfortable in the water and develop beginner swimming techniques. Classes are designed to allow the child to have fun while the parent guides the swimmer to learn aquatics skills through games and other activities. Children are required to wear a swim diaper if not potty trained.

Tadpole II (Age 3 years) For the child who is not quite ready to swim independently without a parent. This level combines fun, water adjustment, basic water skills and core development with the parent’s assistance. Leap Frog (Ages 3-4 years) Not quite sure if your child is ready for a child only class? This transitional class, may be right for you. This class starts as a parent & child class for the first few weeks focusing on water adjustment and beginning swimming skills. Then the class transitions into a child-only Starfish class with the instructors.

CHILD ONLY:

Starfish (Age 3 years) This class is designed for beginning swimmers who are being exposed to the water for the first time without a parent or are moving up from the parent/child classes. In these classes, the instructor will help children gain comfort in the water while working on basic swimming skills and safety. If your child is already comfortable in the pool, we will continue to encourage the progression of their skills. Children must be potty trained to attend this class. Kinderswim Bronze (Ages 4-6 years) This class is designed for beginner swimmers who are between ages 4 years through kindergarten. Children will develop new skills as well as improve the skills they’ve already learned. Classes focus on different skills to assist your child on moving to the next level (Kinderswim Silver). There are no requirements for this class.

Kinderswim Silver (Ages 4-6 years) (must be recommended or tested/ in-person registration) This is a higher level swim class designed for those children who are able to swim independently. Requirements for this class include: putting face in the water for 10 seconds and blowing bubbles comfortably, completing front and back float independently and swim with face in the water for 10 yards. This class will focus on rotary breathing, back float with kicks and endurance by starting to swim the length of the pool. Kinderswim Gold (Ages 5-6 years) (must be recommended or tested/ in-person registration) Children who can swim independently for 15 yards with rotary breathing can now enter on a new quest in Kinderswim Gold. Requirements for this class include: completing 15 yards of swimming with rotary breathing; jumping into the pool without assistance; back float with kicks and rocketship for 15 yards. Your child will learn the backstroke, treading water and tackle new activities and challenges that will keep them engaged in all the possibilities of the pool. Kinderswim Platinum (Ages 5 to 7 years) (must be recommended or tested/ in-person registration) Children who have completed our Kinderswim Gold level can now embark on a new adventure in Kinderswim Platinum. Requirements for this class include: completing 50 yards of swimming with rotary breathing and backstroke; treading water for 30 seconds and retrieving objects from the bottom of pool. Your child will learn the breaststroke, kneeling and standing dives as well as be given new activities and challenges that will keep them engaged in all the possibilities of the pool.

Our fun and energetic staff lead the kids through various games and activities creating memories that last a lifetime. Superhero (Ages 4 - 7 years)

Guests will make dinosaur fossils and learn about different dinosaur footprints. The archeologists will then come together to make a volcano and watch it erupt! The party will end with fun, high energy science games that will thrill the party crowd.

Excellent Experiments! (Ages 5 - 8 years)

We will put all of your party guests minds to work using our observation, prediction, hypothesis and conclusion skills! Kids will learn how the world works around them by participating in fun science experiments. The party will end with fun, high energy science games that will keep the guests learning and exploring!

SPORTS

Come show off your super powers! In the first 30 minutes of the party, guests will choose their super powers and decorate their very own cape. In the next 30 minutes of the party we will have all the new super heroes pretending to fly, scaling the rock climbing wall in our small gym putting their powers to the test, and eventually saving the day!

Sports (Ages 5 - 8 years)

Choose a football, basketball or soccer themed sports party! Fun drills, skills and games will be led by YMCA party hosts. The last 20 minutes of the gym portion will see the players putting their skills to the test in the ‘Championship Game’. The Party will end with the award medal ceremony for all.

SUNDAY THEME BIRTHDAY PARTIES Gym (Ages 1 - 7)

Let’s bounce around! Guests will test their skills on lots of really cool and colorful obstacles and play fun games led by YMCA party hosts. Every gym party includes the very popular bouncy house. The guest of honor will also go on an adventurous parachute birthday ride where guests join in singing happy birthday! At the end of the gym portion, the YMCA party hosts will bring all guests together for a memorable group photo.

Pool (Ages 1 - 7)

Party guests will enjoy free swim and play with pool toys that are provided. Take a splash in the pool with various organized pool games led by YMCA lifeguards throughout the swim portion. Swimmies are also provided!

Tea Party (Ages 5 - 8)

COOKING

It’s Tea Time! Guests will cook scones and enjoy them with freshly whipped cream and jam while brewing and sipping on tea. All guests will be able to go home with new cooking skills and recipes of everything they made.

Pizza Party (Ages 5 - 8)

Say Cheese! Guests will make their own pizza then pick and add their favorite toppings (chosen by you before the party) and enjoy a slice or two! You will also have fruit skewers with a delicious dip as the dessert option.

Zumba combines high energy and motivating music with unique moves and combinations that allow participants to dance and achieve long term health benefits. Taught by a certified Zumba instructor, this class is sure to have you moving and grooving yourself to fitness, health and fun. $70 per parent. A drop in pass may be purchased for $12 per adult for the day.
