NEW STRATEGIES FOR AN EVOLVING MARKETPLACE The 2015 NMSDC professional development seminars are designed to provide sourcing and supplier diversity professionals with access to the most current and effective next practices in supplier diversity process management. To keep pace with the evolving marketplace, key stakeholders are embracing innovation, sustainability and value. The areas of capacity building, goal setting and second tier programs require sourcing and supplier diversity professionals to realign their priorities with the 2

organization’s supplierdiversity initiative. It is no longer acceptable to merely have a database of minority business enterprises (MBEs). The MBEs in your database must have the ability to perform on large contracts and deliver value to the organization. Sustainability has become a major component of corporate social responsibility, and many supplier diversity initiatives are being tasked with integrating sustainability into the overall process. This year’s seminar, titled “Minority Supplier Development: New Strategies for an Evolving Marketplace,” is designed to

provide you with a forum to explore key strategies that are aligned to business goals and objectives.

This interactive one-anda-half day seminar is designed to maximize participant interaction and provide insights on taking your initiative to the next level. Owners of new supplier diversity initiatives will be provided with key tools and strategies required to implement a robust process in their organization. Stakeholders of mature programs will garner fresh approaches to advancing minority supplier development within their organizations and throughout the global marketplace. Regardless of your level of experience, if supplier diversity is important to your company or to your major customers, you cannot afford to miss this opportunity.
