a collaborative exhibit & silent auction ARTWORK DUE: FRIDAY, APRIL 19, 2013 WHAT YOU ARE SUPPORTING: Project: Birdhouse is a collaborative exhibition and a juried, silent auction for the 501(c)3, non-profit design organization, AIGA NM. All proceeds will be used to fund future AIGA New Mexico programs that engage the creative community, spark professional development, and offer support and education programs through events, workshops and other opportunities. AIGA NM is dedicated to upholding the ethical design practices outlined by the AIGA, a professional association for design. WHAT TO ENTER? Any interpretation of a birdhouse –3D or 2D–functional or non-functional. Birdhouses will be juried, selected birdhouses will be part of the exhibit & silent auction. E N T R IE S MU ST BE A CCOM P A N IED B Y : 1. A completed master entry form (this one). Entry forms are available from our site, www.newmexico.aiga.org. 2. One completed submission form per submission (next page), lightly taped to the back of its corresponding piece. For a series of pieces, attach a submission form to each piece. 3. Payment in full. Checks should be made to AIGA New Mexico. The non-refundable entry fee is $25 per entry. If entering a series, add $10 per piece (i.e. a series of three would be $45). Student entries are free of charge. Late entries will NOT be accepted. DISCLAIMER: The gallery display space for this auction event is limited. The works will be curated by a panel of architects, educators, and designers. Any work not chosen for the show must be picked up by the close of the silent auction at the Mark White Contemporary gallery, Friday, April 26th. The chosen artworks will only be on display for the duration of the silent auction only. All work not shown or sold at the auction will be available for pickup at the close of the night or can be donated in your name to AIGA New Mexico. Please indicate on the entry form, if you would like your piece returned. AIGA NM is not responsible for any damage caused to any entry submitted, but promises to be respectful towards each and every participant and their respective entries.
