Don’t just take our word for it… “I spent 12 weeks as an intern at 2dgrees in 2014 as part of my dissertation assessment. Here I had the chance to gain first-hand experience of some of the most innovative solutions for corporate sustainability. Not only was this invaluable for my work, it also gave me a great foundation for my future career in this field. During my time as an intern I became part of a great team consisting of passionate and intelligent people with a wide range of backgrounds and nationalities. Everyone one at 2degrees, from the CEO to the other interns, made me feel at home every day from the very first day. This is proven by the fact that one year after I started my internship I still work at 2degrees as I love the company’s mission, values and the team.”

Niccolò Roveda Graduate of MSc Sustainability & Consultancy, Leeds – 2014 Now Engagement Manager at 2degrees

“I worked as an intern both during the summer between my second and third years of university, and after I graduated. The internships provided me with an incredible experience of real-life B2B collaboration with multinational firms. The idea of using a dedicated platform providing a space for collaboration alongside social media to address issues of sustainability was a novel one which really appealed to me as my generation grew up using digital technology, but rarely for such an important cause. It was extremely motivating to work within such a passionate team and the office environment was always hugely productive, friendly and social. I believe my experience from 2degrees will benefit me when seeking employment after my Masters - I wonder how many recent graduates can honestly say that they’ve worked with the likes of GSK, RBS, AsdaWalmart and Unilever? The fact that it was a paid position with holiday really appealed to me as I could earn and save before heading back to university whilst maintaining a healthy work-life balance. I was incredibly impressed with the organisation of the internship and loved the fact that I was given help to improve my CV and LinkedIn as this was purely to my benefit, demonstrating perfectly how I was valued by 2degrees. This is truly an invaluable experience and one that I could not recommend more.”
