Project Manager Meritech Engineering is seeking a dynamic Project Manager to join their team. This individual will lead a team that values integrity, dedication and who find pride in their work. As a member of this team you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, advance your abilities through training and work autonomously in your role. As a Project Manager for Meritech Engineering you will become a representative for both our firm and our clients while providing technical solutions to agencies, clients and stakeholders. In your role, you will work directly with clients and approval agencies to facilitate the approval of the design work. This is comprised of meeting and communicating with the client and individuals from other disciplines and companies. To facilitate cultivating these important professional relationships, Meritech is active within a variety of industry associations. Internally, the Project Manager will work with the Design Group Manager to create schedules for design in conjunction with project deadlines. As a part of the management team, the Project Manager will guide long term and short term priorities based upon the individual client’s needs. This prioritization of our clients has cultivated many positive outcomes that have developed longstanding client relationships. Externally, Meritech Engineering’s designs are well received by agencies and are successful in making a development concept a reality. Meritech Engineering staff are applied design and construction specialists in the municipal and land development industries. We manage solutions for servicing, grading, and stormwater management for: - Residential or industrial subdivisions; - Commercial, residential, institutional and industrial site plans; - Municipal reconstruction projects; and - Municipal Class EA projects and master plans. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: - 5 years of Project Management experience in the industry; - Understands the planning, approvals, tendering and civil construction processes; - Is competent in all aspects of drainage, servicing and stormwater management; - PMP, P.Eng or CET credentials are considered an important asset; and - Local experience within the development or municipal environment is considered an asset.
