THE PACESETTER: The Los Angeles office of public relations firm Edelman tops the list of the largest firms ranked by fee income in Los Angeles County. The Chicago-headquartered firm reported $21 million in L.A. fee income last year, a $4 million increase from 2011. The local office has worked on Volkwagen’s Super Bowl campaign, the launch of a PacSun clothing line with the Jenner sisters and Activision’s launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops II over the past year.
WEST LOS ANGELES: In September, Murphy O’Brien moved into new headquarters in Teleflora Plaza on Olympic Boulevard in West Los Angeles.
NEW YORK: VPE Public Relations, a Hispanic-owned agency headquartered in South Pasadena, opened an office in New York last year.
