Temporary closure of Ashcroft Hospital Emergency Department ASHCROFT – Residents are advised that the Ashcroft Hospital and Health Centre Emergency Department will be closed overnight on June 4. This temporary closure on short notice is necessary due to a lack of staff availability. Emergency Department services will be unavailable from 10 p.m. on Sunday, June 4, until 8 a.m. on Monday, June 5. Services outside these hours remain unchanged. Emergency Department services normally operate on weekends only, starting Friday at 6 p.m. to Monday at 8 a.m. Interior Health regrets this interruption to our normal emergency department services. Residents should take note of the following if they require care when the emergency department is closed:
In the event of an emergency, call 9-1-1. Visit the emergency department at one of the following facilities: o Royal Inland Hospital – 311 Columbia Street, Kamloops o Lillooet Hospital – 951 Murray Street, Lillooet o 100 Mile District General Hospital – 555 Cedar Avenue South, 100 Mile House Call HealthLinkBC at 8-1-1 (24 hour service), if you are unsure about your need to go to the emergency department.
